When I first met Ron & Chris Harder it was after the loss of my son (2009) through grief support and special functions held each year for a parent that has lost a child. Over the first two years I had an amazing experience. During the first two years after the loss of my son I learned that Ron & Chris Harder had a funeral home, but why was it so amazing? It was the way they treated the mothers, brothers, fathers, children, etc etc, the only thing I could say and I would change is the my sons funeral, the caring the loving and being personal with someone you dont know I did not experience that. Why did I not know that there was a wonderful place that would honor my son and help me through my pain. A year ago I lost my cousin he was 56yrs old, he was in bad health, I knew who to call, and I did. Ron Harder was right there, all the way to the service. Here is a man that opened his heart to the world, and with his wife Chris right beside him. I love them both and from now on, I have a funeral home. Heritage Oaks Memorial Chapel. I cant say it enough if I could redo my sons funeral, I would of had it with Heritage Oaks Memorial Chapel. Respectfully Karen Whitman-Roseville.

Heritage Oaks did a great job with our beloved father. We had about a week in advance to plan. The staff was very thoughtful, cooperative, and caring. We were not subjected to any pressure marketing at all. Everything, from the Trisagion service the night before the funeral, to the funeral at church, and the procession to the cemetery for internment, was handled seamlessly and very professionally. Worry free. Stress free. Hopefully we wont need their services for a long time, but theyll be our first call when the need arises again.

Of all the decisions our family made during our beloved dads passing, choosing Heritage Oaks was the least stressful and most comforting. Funeral director Jim Beeding arranged for the most dignified transfer of my dads remains to his final resting place at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery. At all times, I felt he was available to answer our questions and to reassure. Having compassionate people like Jim and his team on our side turned out to be an unexpected gift during a very difficult time. Highly recommended.

Heritage Oaks provided our family with one of the most courteous and professional services during our hard time and loss. They were challenged with having three religious services and ceremony (Catholic, Christian, Buddhist) during my sons funeral service. They were able to make continuous time adjustments to insure complete observance and respect. In addition the United States Marines were on hand to honor my son which was arranged by Heritage Oaks. During what was without doubt the most distressing time of all my life, they made things a little easier, with their kindness, patience & caring. Their services to a veteran were great, leaving nothing to be desired & I would unhesitatingly recommend them. I appreciated the sympathy card I received after the services & the little booklet, "Journey Through Grief" which they gave me when I went to pick up the death certificates- another hard thing to do, and again they were very patient & kind.
