My older son just had surgery and asked me to pick him up soup ,Im feeling pretty overwhelmed and emotional . I came in and my order came to 20 dollars I tried to hand them a $50 and the lady told me no walk to Wendys they will break it we dont take that . As I walked across the parking lot trying to hurry because my son is at home out of it from surgery and I have another kid with me . I try to buy something to break it at Wendys and Wendys apologises and said they cant. So I walk back to Panera bread and ask to talk to a manager at this point Im breaking down and crying a little trying to hold back my tears I told them Wendys cant break it, my meal here is 20 dollars my son just had surgery can you please break it . The manger is a Yong guy and he said sorry no it could be counterfeit .? I said cant you check it some how a machine or pen ? I cant drive somewhere and come all the way back . He said no pens dont always work as Im crying more having a mental breakdown he starts to smile and laugh at me saying nothing he can do, I stay respectful and I said can I have a number to call to talk to someone and complain and he said he had no other information or numbers for me he was the manager .I left I have never been so embarrassed in my life . We come to panera bread all the time and spend a ton of money with our family and I will never be back in here . This is the first complaint I have ever left and Im 37 years old I have 5 children and live right down the street from this Panera bread in rocklin . Sitting in my car getting ready to head back home empty handed . Pleasant Grove, CA

Not to impressed with the staff nor the price of the food for the quantity you get. I ordered a Chicken Caesar Sandwich and there was NO chicken on my sandwich. I also ordered Mac & Cheese for my son and when our order was ready we found out it was not included so I had to go back up and place a new order for Mac & Cheese...which came to a total of $9...when the bowl came it was more than half empty and they said that was the serving size...it could have fit in a cup and I could have saved $5. I also tried to order a simple Turkey sandwich and the cashier looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language and told me they didnt have Turkey and Cheese, maybe I wanted Him and Cheese? Then after a few minutes of going back and forth says "we have a deli Turkey that we can add cheese to?"...Was that so hard? Not worth $45 for fast food... especially when its not even right!

Ive eaten a several Panera Bread locations and loved it. I must say, I was hugely disappointed in my experience at this location. The food was crappy (the meat was still frozen in my salad), and they ran out of plates, so served us out of their to-go boxes. And the portions were not the same as other locations. The person taking our order was friendly enough, but she didnt even offer us a choice of sides. My husband had never been there before, so didnt know what was available. I had to ask her to tell us what options were available. Overall, a huge disappointment. I will eat at Panera Bread again, but I will avoid this location like the plague. Very disappointed.

I order catering on a weekly basis and the catering service here is not as consistent! Also, when I let the cashier know that she didnt get my order right (and that they were to give us a treat when we pointed it out) and that the the people at the pick up counter said that the cashier should have given it to me when I ordered, the cashier got defensive with me and told me that it didnt count that she didnt give me a to go glass for my drink! Have been ordering catering from the Rocklin PB restaurant since then and have been very happy with them for our catering needs!

I was so excited to get Panera Bread and that there was a location near me. Im six and a half months pregnant and it was all I was craving all day long. The employees were very cold when I came in when I asked what was on a certain sandwich I got the roughest layout ever she didnt really want to answer me. And I got my sandwich it was ok and the side of bread I ordered they ripped it off of the loaf of bread instead of just cutting it with a knife. It was the worst experience I ever had!!

I live Panera bread, but this location is not very efficient. Stand at the register with no one else waiting and 3 people walk past and the 4th takes your order? When you get your bagles sliced youd expect about a 50:50 cut, not 90:10. They have room for improvement. They seem more concerned about keeping costs low than attracting customers. Have lost some as a result.I have been going there about once every other month for the last couple years.

Good sandwiches on excellent bread. Which is not terribly surprising as bread is what they *do*. The only real down side is that the lunch line can be pretty long. Given the amount of time I have for lunch, I usually order to go from their app, which lets me walk in, grab my sandwich and coffee, and hit the road.

Normally come here for coffee and brkfast sandwich . The steak and egg on a toasted bagel w/ steak, cheese, tomatoes, egg, and onion is the best! The service is quick and helpful. I normally order via the kiosk since I can easily customize my sandwich.

Great service! Tonya was patient with me since it was my first time here. The food tastes great and the free lunch promo was a bonus! Definitely should give this place a try for lunch and they have breakfast too!

I love their new ordering system. If I want to be social or ask questions, go to the register. If I know what I want and dont want to be asked a million questions, go to the kiosk. Win win in my book.

Everything about my bread bowl was wrong. Ordered cheesy potato soup, got creamy tomato. Bead bowl was poorly cut. 9pm now so they are closes and im out of luck. Last time eating at panera.

Great place with outdoor seating as well as plenty of space inside. The panera is located in the corner of plaza right off highway 65 which makes it really convenient.

Broccoli cheddar, chicken noodle, and potato soup are so good. Love the bread bowl and the pastries are amazing. My husband and I go here sometimes twice a week.
