This place wants to be great but somehow always falls short. Ive come here 3 or 4 times over the past couple years and each time Im left a bit disappointed. The food pictures, descriptions and selection look amazing and have made me give them multiple chances to make me like them. Sadly, thats where the disappointment begins. Ive been there when its busy and when it was almost empty, each time they were slow and seemed very disorganized. On one occasion they gave my food to another customer who put a fork in it and sat down, then brought it back; and they actually tried to give it to me. When they couldnt convince me that it was untouched, they made me a new meal. This last time I was here, I ordered a salad with shrimp and when I started to eat it, the shrimp was only half cooked at best. I brought the shrimp back, they took all the shrimp out of the salad and cooked them longer and then gave it back. I promise Im not a picky person, but to have this many bad experiences, I think Ive given this place a fair chance. The other times I visited, the food was okay, but a little slow and just didnt live up to the expectations set by the advertising. I wish them well and hope they get better.

OK so Ive been going Costa Vida for 6 months now and Ive always loved and refered tons of people to here. however Ive always thought the service sucked. now today I have to say I will never eat there again. went in to get food for me and my sister. another bland service experience, but this time when i get home I find a fly in my food.... OK no big deal I call and take it back in. when I get there i talk to the girl at the register and she goes and gets the manager. the manager literally didnt say a word to us. she just walked out and kept her head down and refunded us our money and walked away... we never received an apology or any type of acknowldgement of the fact that theres bugs in there food.... bullshit. honestly the food here is delicious, but Im so infuriated by how shitty the service is, and how unapologetic there "manager" was I will never eat here again. go to Chipotle

I have frequented this establishment a few times now, and never had a problem until today. They were busy and the service was awful! I talked to the manager after the meal, and after I told him that the rice was hard and under cooked (to go along with everything else that was cold and under cooked) and that I know that he is busy but he may want to slow down and actually prepare the food correctly. He pauses, looks up at me, and says OKAY? I reply, well I just thought I should let you know that I am going to eat my dinner at taco bell and that I threw away his food. He said, OKAY? GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE....NOT!

Normally we love the food, the service, the quality BUT when we went in for lunch yesterday I was extremely disappointed. The servers were okay, they were slinging the food in the containers & not listening to what I was asking them to put in them. We got to the register, she totaled it, I showed her my coupon, she ignored me & said your total will be..... Again I told her I have a coupon, so after looking at me like I inconvenienced her, she rang up the coupon. I will go.back.but its going to take me a while. I was not happy with 1 thing at their restaurant yesterday.

Costa Vida in Roseville is my new favorite restaurant! My first experience was with their sweet pork nachos and it was absolutely intense...something about the way they cook the pork that gives it a sweet spice flavor thats addicting! I have since tried their sweet pork burrito, tacos and enchilada, as well as their mango chicken salad....all 5 out of 5 star!! After eating Costa Vida, I was like chipot-whoo?

So ive been wanting Mexican food for a while went out for coffee but saw this Costa Vida fresh Mexican grill i was like hey lets try it out! k loved it instantly! sorry chipotle uve lost a customer! Fresh is best and Costa Vida is fresh! i mean they make the tortillas right then! i recommend this place for the best Mexican food in town! also amazing friendly service i would DEFINITELY go back!

Thanks but no thanks. Given the amount of good reviews on here I tried it out for lunch today. Extremely disappointed. My burrito was basically cold even after they sent it through their toaster. The salsa I was given was "medium" and there was more of a sweet taste than there was a spicy taste. Chicken was bland and had no flavor. Wont be returning as I know there are better burritos nearby.

I love Costa vida. It has the speed of fast food, but with much more quality and fresh ingredients. Everything is prepared on site, tortillas are made to order, and the menu gives you a variety of options. They also have a different special for every day of the week. The staff is always friendly, and theres never much of a wait even with a long line.

Similar concept to Chipotle but with more options. The food is always great, and they have nachos!!! Friendly staff, lots of seating. It gets pretty warm inside on hot days, just make sure you sit closer to the soda machines than the lines. Depending on the server when you order, portions can differ in amount.

The food is absolutely delicious, and you can really customize your order. I love that they make their tortillas fresh when you order! Best burrito place around in my opinion. Very convenient too. You can eat in, or take it to go just as easily.

Great service and fast! Happy with my visits here except the door and the tables are a little too close I think. It was awkward letting people get out before me and also making sure the tables dont get bumped.

The food is always yummy here. Love the sweet pork salad. Shared with my wife. Under $10 total. Cant beat that price for a date night out. You will probably see your friends there too.

The food is always good here. The line, however, moves pretty slowly. They could benefit, during busy times, having one more person to help behind the counter to move the line along.

Food is delicious. I ordered the steak tacos. Steak was perfectly seasoned and tender, unlike at Chipotle. Pinto beans also had flavor. My new favorite fresh-mex spot.
