Let me start by saying that we could not have been happier with the work that Geremia did for us. Our experience was great from the start, the day we met Wanda our designer. She was so patient with us, and never forced any ideas on us. She truly listened to what we thought we wanted, what we didn’t want, and came up with a design that we loved. When the design was a little outside our budget, she worked with us on changes to get the design within our budget. A big frustration for us (and totally understandable) is the lack of information online regarding the cost of pool features. Wanda didn’t try to sell us something we couldn’t afford. Instead, she was patient and provided some options for how to reduce cost, but still keep the look and feel we wanted. She did a great job of not making us feel like we had to settle, and more like we just had to make a few tradeoffs. Once we agreed on the design and cost, we moved into construction. We were then left in the capable hands of Susan the project manager, although Wanda still stayed involved, because she cares about the little details and makes sure that everything gets incorporated exactly as planned. Construction was efficient, and even though the backyard was a construction zone, the crew cleaned up everyday. They still treated our yard as our home and were polite and courteous. Susan made sure to call a few days in advance of each phase and inspection, so we knew exactly what to expect and when to expect it. The last phase of the project was the filling and adjusting of the chemicals. Geremia was great with explaining the process and sent an expert out to develop a plan for getting the pool up and running as quick as possible. I felt like after the meeting I knew exactly how to work all the functions of the pool, and was confident in how to adjust the chemicals to make sure the pool is clean and safe. The entire experience was great in my opinion. When you spend that kind of money, you want to feel like you are getting a good value. I feel like we got what we paid for and then some. Geremia did a great job of explaining the process that I was confident in their abilities the entire time. We have had friends in our neighborhood with pools that did not recommend their builders because they didn’t feel like they could trust those companies. Geremia earned our trust, and I would without hesitation recommend them to friends and family that are interested in building a pool. They are not the cheapest, but they were also not the most expensive, and you get the feeling that a company that’s been around for so long will continue to be there for you.

We are currently in the process of having Geremia install a pool at our property. There are some pros: their workers are respectful and diligent, for example. And I like the design. By all accounts, I can expect a great finished product. HOWEVER, the communication throughout the process has been atrocious. What they dont seem to realize is that, though they install pools every day, for most of their customers this the first time they have put in a pool. They dont know the steps, the timeline, and what needs to get done when (and by whom). People dont care that you have other projects going on. Its not that they arent understanding, but when you use that as an excuse to provide a crappy (and stressful) experience, it is inexcusable. We signed our contract on December 13, 2016. They started on March 30th. With the weather, we were understanding and patient. But the work has not progressed and weeks have gone by with little to no activity in our yard. We told them more than SIX WEEKS AGO that they trenched the lines for electrical and gas for our outdoor kitchen in the wrong place. It still has not been moved, despite telling them numerous times over the past month about the error. Last week they told us they would come to move it on Monday or Tuesday. Its Thursday and it hasnt been done. They dont return my calls or answer emails, even the ones we have sent to the owners. The company seems to not want to have any paper trail, as no emails get answered. Many people have asked me for pool company recommendations. I have not once recommended Geremia and will not do so. I feel like a sucker for picking them. Premier is building down the street. They started a little over a month weeks ago and are nearly at the stage we are, and we are two and a half months in. I do expect a great finished product and know that the company has a reputation for that. But I can never get straight answers, the process (and many of the costs) are totally opaque, and nobody seems concerned with our frustrations. *Note: I posed this previously and took it down after they called and asked that if we would take this down if they made things right. Well, we got some love for a week or so. I took my post down and things went back to the way they were. Seems all they care about is their reputation, not the process of earning it. Maybe THIS will get some activity going.

We had our pool and spa done by them several years ago and asked them to come by and check out what we could do about the plaster wearing off. The guy who came to our house did not appear very clean or professional. We asked them to do an acid wash on the spa to see if it worked to restore the plaster. He said he knew by the first step it wasnt working but continued to perform the acid wash on the entire spa. Also, he dumped the extra acid wash solution on our patio and left it looking terrible. We are very disappointed with their follow up services and inability to recommend solutions to our problem. We DO NOT RECOMMEND them under any circumstances.

Not only did the sales staff mislead us on the design components of our pool (owner provided waterfall feature - who would think one would have to provide such things at an increased cost of 10% of the total original bid) but then to have subpar install of pool coping that looked more like an undulating kiddy rollercoaster and components installed that do not function together...and in fact result in the malfunction of the chlorinator device. The lack of customer service to resolve the issues was dismissive and worse than poor. We would have expected more from a self-proclaimed premier pool builder. We will NEVER recommend Geremia to anyone.

We had Geremia build this pool 42 years ago for us so it was natural they would be the ones wed call to update the plaster, tile, decking and equipment. Their guys on their crew had been servicing and building pools for DECADES and knew how every piece of the visible as well as underground system worked. We updated equipment, rerouted plumbing, resurfaced everything and now have a pool that is even better and much more energy efficient than it was when it was new. Their price, while not the least expensive was competitive, but the value they delivered and customer service was unbeatable!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my experiences with Geremia Pools. They had a full range of professional services and offered many unique designs that would appeal to many people. I worked carefully with the contractors to make sure I got exactly what my family and I wanted. Geremia Pools is known for using the best quality materials and ensuring client satisfaction and that is exactly what they did. They lived up to their wonderful reputation and without a doubt Geremia Pools is the best choice for pool building and maintenance in the area.
