We hired Christian of Timberline Construction two years ago after our second home in Truckee suffered significant water damage during a freeze. Virtually the entire house was gutted down to the studs and Timberline Construction was amazing. Christian was very communicative, hard-working, honest, finished ahead of schedule and on-budget with great subs and excellent craftsmanship. Truthfully, in terms of finishes and construction the house was significantly enhanced by Timberline Constructions attention to detail and skill. I had been a bit worried about managing a large scale project remotely (from the Bay Area)-- but Christian was in constant communication with me and I only had to drive up to the house once during the entire project which was amazingly helpful and convenient. I highly recommend Christian Edwards and Timberline Construction without hesitation. As a homeowner, we have had some less than satisfactory experiences in the past... Christian is very smart, a talented builder and a really nice person with whom to work.

We live in the Bay Area and we own a second home in Tahoe. We are so fortunate to have found Timberline Construction and the owner, Christian Edwards, to work on our house even though we are not there to supervise. Christian is 100% trustworthy and easy to work with. He sends photos of progress on request, and names of products to look at here or website addresses, so we can make choices from afar. His estimates are detailed, and he is open to altering a project to meet budget needs. He tells us if he thinks something is not necessary, even if it means a lower-priced job. The quality of workmanship is superb, and so far all of our projects have come in on budget. Projects at our house have included renovating a bathroom after a pipe burst and flooded it; soundproofing a utility room; miscellaneous electrical work; modifying the HVAC system to heat the house more evenly; rebuilding a deck and 3 external landing/stairways; and replacing worn external paneling. I highly recommend Timberline Construction Co.

We used Timberline to remodel a big portion of our living room and our entire kitchen. Christian and his team did an incredible job. He was extremely communicative and understood our goals so made recommendations / decisions in-line with what we expected. We installed all new appliances, cut out part of a load-bearing wall, installed a new island, new countertops, etc. He was the lead on all of this and were incredibly satisfied with the work. We continue to use him for other odd jobs here and there and would highly recommend Timberline!

Christian did several projects to update our cabin. He built a fantastic 2 car garage with a covered walkway. Christian did a first class job with the construction and communication throughout the project. We later hired Christian to add a mudroom to our home and a permanent wall to close off our loft into a separate bedroom. I have to give Chrisitan very high marks for his work. We were in Truckee for our kids spring vacation time and the water pipe cracked in the upstairs bathroom due to freezing. We didnt allow things to heat up properly before turning on the water. Christian answered my call immediately and was able to get the job done in a fashionable time frame. I gave him the information over the phone and was able to get the repair job done. Great job.
