I found Kate through a Google search of Sacramento wedding planners about a year before my partner and I got married on 5-14-16. I read her reviews and felt she might be the right choice for us. After our initial meeting to get acquainted I was convinced of this, sensing she was extremely organized and excellent at what she does. Throughout the planning process, leading up to the wedding, and especially the day of our wedding, I was so grateful I chose Kate to be the "maestro" of our event. She kept us on task in an unobtrusive way, ensuring that our event came together flawlessly. I know our stress level was reduced significantly by engaging her and allowing her to orchestrate the event. Her on-line planning tools allowed us to track our planning progress and budget, and also provided reminders of the bills for wedding vendors that were coming due. A wedding is usually a once in a lifetime event and you want it to be special and perfect. Kate and her staff ensured this happened. Im forever grateful that a random Google search led me to her and forever grateful to her and to her staff for making our wedding and reception the best it could be. Thank you again, Kate!

This review is long overdue but nevertheless I had to give 5 stars to Sarah with Kate Whelan Events. I am convinced the shower wouldnt have happened without Sarah! From the moment I contacted her she was responsive and helped me every step of the way. As the date got closer I was contacting her frequently and she was always accessible! At first it was hard for me to let go of the planning but Sarah handled everything with ease. She was organized and kept me up to date through email, phone calls and in person meetings. She made sure all the vendor contracts were in order and kept an up to date timeline for me. I was all over the place with ideas for what I wanted and Sarah helped me narrow down what would be best while always keeping my vision in mind. The day of the shower she made sure everything went smoothly and efficiently. She arrived early to make sure the venue was ready; she helped with set up and even helped the flower vendor! There was one small hiccup with the food, but Sarah rectified the situation before I even knew there was a potential problem. The shower was a huge success and more importantly it was stress free for me

I cannot say enough, how grateful my now husband and I are for Kate Whelan and teams services. Kate surpassed our expectations and made our wedding day beautiful and seamless. Hiring Kate was the single best investment we made, when securing services for our wedding. Im still getting compliments about how chic and beautiful our wedding space was, and how well planned the event was. Ive heard many people say it was the best wedding theyd ever attended. This is all thanks to Kate and her team. Kate not only has an eye for design, Kate is also extremely detailed, organized, and timely in her communication. My now husband is a project manager, and was very impressed with Kates level of attention to detail in her project plan and timeline. There was not one aspect of our wedding that had not been thought of and planned. Kates online wedding planning application, was super easy to use as well, and gave us updates and reminders of milestones that needed to be accomplished well in advance. Additionally, Kates day of timeline kept our wedding party on track and made sure special moments were not rushed or missed due to time constraints.
