Great Family Entertainment! Zaps Zone is a clean and extremely fun, family friendly facility. There is a reason this place was rated one of the best places to have a birthday party. I have been here for many birthdays, a few lock-ins, and dropped in. I have only not experienced the overnight lock-ins (but I hope to someday!) For parties, the assigned host/hostess take care of everything from setting you up in a room, clearly explaining the laser tag games, serving sodas, pizza, and cake, as well as clean up. The staff make the whole birthday experience simple and easy. You just have to bring a cake and take home the presents. For the 2 hour lock-in, you log in and they let you play until you want to quit. The staff was great when equipment wasnt working by fixing/replacing it and getting you back into the game fast! Drop ins are fun to play against other players, especially the time my kids and I were involved in a 3 team free mode game. I have seen fathers and mothers have a blast and come out of the arena full of sweat. I also like that the place respects the people that serve our country both locally and abroad. As for the negative comments that I have seen, I have never run into any rude or inappropriate behavior by the staff. They all work very hard to make your experience a good one. It is impressive that they are able create an fun environment for kids of all ages from young children to teens and college kids to adults. In any situation, all you have to do is communicate and I know that the staff will do their best to accommodate your concerns. In the 3 years I have been in Stockton, I have never had a bad experience and it is a great physical activity for the whole family.

This place is cool so far, will update the review. Theres a mini arcade and the service comes in sessions of 1, 2, or 3. The young lady wearing the flannel behind the desk looked like she hated the world and her lack of customer service really showed it. She didnt explain how things worked at all except that I needed to head to the kiosk to enter my info. She didnt tell me when the session would start or anything else. I ended up asking someone else how things worked. They call your name when your session starts and you enter the briefing room. The briefing time at the kiosk is off, so you just listen for your name. Inside the laser tag area is awesome. It is huge and has a second floor, albeit small second floor, but a second floor. Everything is organized as well, teams based on colors, code names you assign yourself, and vests and guns assigned to your code name. Food area is ok. Prices are great, sucked because they just happened to run out of ice, but its cool. They serve alcohol too, big plus. Everyone else had great customer service other than that one girl wearing the flannel. So overall, 4 stars.

The arena itself was okay (though they could use some upgraded equipment). However, the customer service was some of the worst I have ever experienced; the only people that I saw working there were all immature teenagers who showed no respect and seemingly went out of their way to behave rudely. My interactions with the staff completely ruined what little fun I had; neither I nor my friends will ever be going back.

I will never do a birthday party with this business again. The young girl who was assigned to give children instruction in the game was more interested in "coming on" to one of the men in our group. There was NO attention given to our gathering. Had a long hour in a small party room. I do not recommend for childrens parties. Staff integrity is questionable.

Decided to go hear last minute with my niece, nephew and friend The staff talked me into playin a round with the kids .... I had to play another after it was a blast the kids loved it and they got some great excercise aswell as myself Definitely going to take the kids back here

Went to try out Zap Zone with some friends and was pleasantly surprised. The laser tag arena had multiple levels and was alot of fun. It isnt the nicest place to look at from the outside but youll have a great time inside. If they add mirrors Ill bump my rating to a 5.

I went out to zap zone on January 18 2017. I just realized they charge me twice for a session I didnt ask for. When I used my card they told me the transaction didnt go through so I swiped it another time. Just to realize that they charge me twice is upsetting.

Awesome place for kids of all ages. I went in not expecting much and left with 3 kids all wanting their next birthdays there. Even how chaotic the place was the staff was able to get things done and assist our party to the fullest. We will definitely be back!

Worst place to go! Any other place is better than Zapszone. Crappy Equipment, very unprofessional service and rude employees. Was not happy with the way my friends and I were treated! Not a good place for children! Modesto is way better than this place!

ZapZone is a great place! Not only are they family friendly they also take the time to work with community groups. I work with a lot of youth in the community and ZapZone had always supported the work we do and the people in our city! Thank you ZapZone!

Fun place to take kids. The wait may vary depending on your group and other peoples groups. That have arcade games to help you wait. The actual arena and have is fun. Just be prepared to wait.

Sort of small and cramped outside but the laser arena is not bad. The guns are all functional and there is plenty of space for birthday parties. They have tvs all around for movies or sports.

The plays arent too long but arent too quick, fun. Theres an arcade, jumpers, and available food. Great for parties and just to hang out.

Great prices. The all night lock downs are the best when you bring a big group. They have a small snack bar.
