After visits to 3 visits to BMW repair specialists across California and Oregon, my 05 M3 is finally running like a dream, thanks to Philip and his team. And I feel like I happen to have incredibly talented BMW mechanic friends who can help me really enjoy my BMW enthusiasts side, without having to mortgage the house I dont own. I have a really high standard for customer service, having started a couple businesses, as well as working in retail/sales back when I was younger. No matter how great a business, there always seem to be some way in which they could improve their service and customer relationship, but in working with B and B and with Philip, I found myself learning from the experience instead. My car was struggling, almost since I bought it 8 months ago, with an intermittent misfiring issue that 2 other mechanics had tried to diagnose and fix. Id paid hundreds of dollars at one shop for parts and labor that literally did nothing to fix the problem. The second couldnt diagnose anything and gave up. And of course, these intermittent problems always flair up when youre in the middle of a road trip (I live in San Francisco). Philip immediately sympathized with my situation and squeezed my car in, and I cant even explain how relieved I was to hear that he just wanted to help me fix the problem, and that he basically would try not to charge me for anything he tried which didnt fix the problem. Im pretty sure Ive never heard a single person in the auto industry say those words. Most just bill by the hour and hold your car hostage when they present the bill. B and B Autohaus is the exact opposite. And they backed up what they promised. It turns out the seemingly insolvable issue with my precious car, which 2 other mechanics had given up on diagnosing and fixing was the 4th or 5th thing we tried. Philip always kept me in the loop on how things were going and the status of any parts that wed ordered, and helped me save money by ordering a used part over the internet instead of a new one which could have costed thousands from a dealer (and actually wouldnt have fixed the problem). The bill at the end of the service was more than fair. Generous, I would say, actually. And more than anything, I feel lucky to have met Philip, Mike and their team, and know that I can keep enjoying my BMWs, and leaving them such incredibly capable and trustworthy hands.

Awesome people! Brought my 2012 M3 that has fallen out of warranty to these guys since my car threw a code and activated a reduced power for safety. First time around brought it they cleared the code at no charge as they did not figure out exactly what happened as the car had two different codes. I expected to have another code come up if there was an issue. Sure enough my vehicle did have a problem that re triggered the code. They narrowed it down to two possible issues either a faulty sensor to the brake booster or the actual pump its self. They read an explained to me the parameters where it should be an why the suspicioun is the pump. Was re assured of the code returns its the sensor and they will replace the sensor and not charge me for the pump and labor for that job as they charge only for the service rendered to rectify the issue. Great service and loyalty to their customer. The best part about their service is you speak to the service representative and the tech themselves!!! Dealers have representatives who try to explain the service to you as a tech is on your vehicle trying to upsale parts. How do I know this cause I am a prior tech. Only reason why I came here is they have the tools and technology to work on such complicated vehicles so they are up to date on the technology and very well experienced. Thank you!

I really like this shop and the guys that work there. I used to take my Dinan Z4 to the bmw shop near north park, but they charge ~75% more, so I switch to B&B. The guys at B&B are very knowledgeable, reasonably priced (cmon, you own a bmw), and honest. They never try to up-sell you or use scare tactics to squeeze more money from you. Im a struggling masters student, so I can really appreciate it when they tell me what absolutely has to be done during this visit vs next visit. Theyll also try to overlap labor charges on part changes whenever they can, which is exactly what I do for certain diy jobs in my driveway. Theyll even go as far as installing newer oem retrofit parts so you dont have to pay $230+ in labor to change a $2 pulley the next time it bites the dust in 40k miles. Lastly, if they have time, theyll even educate you on certain aspects of your vehicle. Im not talking about the education provided to Jerry Seinfeld from his mechanic... but rather the nitty gritty that isnt on the internet forums and such. Although they are outside of the San Diego city area... theyre worth the 15-20 minute ride. The extra fuel and time will be made up on the first visit.

This shop is outstanding. B&B is a priceless “find” for BMW owners looking to eliminate ANY concerns of second guessing if receiving top service and competitive pricing. The owner is committed to a great experience in fixing my cars, provides unsolicited options if in the know with specific requests, takes time to explain and most important knows his BMW brand and gets the job done right. It is great to know B&B has me covered for great service now that the dealership experience has gone south after expired coverage.

Those guys are 2nd to none and would refer them to anyone who is looking for a good experience when in need of car repair which we all know some mechanics are looking to rip you apart in our time of need... These guys are the most knowledgeable techs i have used on any car in san diego. I have been here for 16 yrs now and these guys were straight to the point no extra charge or telling me to get more work done and it was exactly what i wanted out of a repair shop. Sad i wont be here to use them, if you have a BMW take your car here, hands down best visit you will have!!

It is not possible for me to say enough good about B and B. The throw out bearing was going out in my 1998 BMW Z3 M Roadster. B and B saved me 1/3 over Masons BMW and replaced a couple belts at no charge. Even saved me $87 over B and Bs original estimate, with car done totally on time. These people seriously ROCK.

If youre looking for reliable and trustworthy service for your Bmw STOP HERE. They not only did a great job but very happy with pricing and service A1. Had small problem with key as well and they fixed it no extra charge I had my belt tensioner and blower motor replaced. Try them enough said!!

This guys are amazing they take care of my E34 aka 1994 530i... they are knowledgeable, they have phenomenal customer service skills, great vibes , Professionals all the way i highly recommend BandB Autohaus. If you love your BMW you will love BandB AutoHaus
