I rented my truck through the u-haul website and unfortunately was routed to these guys. When i got there, right in the middle of the paperwork the guy got a call and just left. I had to get back in line, wait and redo all the paperwork. As soon as i got to my place i noticed that the padlock in the trucks box wouldnt work. Then i spent 40min on the phone to finally get the promise that someone would show up to fix it. On the following day when i returned the truck, first they tried to charge me for refueling ($30 fee plus $5/gallon) even though the gauge was full (no surprises on it, i drove the truck for 13miles and filled up with 4 gallons 2 miles before i get to the store). When i finally managed to convince them that i wouldnt accept paying for refueling (didnt have to show the receipt for the gas, but almost got there) they informed me that i hit the upper part of the box and broke one of those lights). it was, no questions, stressful to convince them not to charge me for something that i didnt do at all! (it was an old truck with 250K miles and God knows how many scratches and dings on it). By the way, when i mentioned that i couldnt use the lock, the manager implied that i am some kind of knuckle head as i probably "didnt know how to use it". it would be comic if i couldnt notice that he was trying to call me stupid for not being able to use a padlock, despite of the fact that the mechanic they sent me had to use a hammer to open it. So, if you want a tip, go for some pro and courteous guy. They probably wont try that hard to rip you off. i hope if helps to make your move less stressful than mine was.

I called ahead of time to tell the staff that I was going to be there to drop my truck off right before they were going to close. I arrived at 4:55 and took a few minutes to do one last check on the truck and make sure I had all the papers together. As I was just about ready to walk in the door, I turned to say something to my father and heard the door click behind me. I looked at my phone and it read 5:00 exactly! I knocked and was informed that I could drop the key in the drop box and they would check it in the next morning. When I asked what I should do if I needed to dispute any of their findings, they told me to call customer service. To top it all off, I was charged for extra mileage, and I have no way of confirming that the charge was correct.

So Im returning the trailer and theres this guy back there and hes spending like 10 minutes on his cell phone so he didnt came and asking for anything so I go to the front desk and theres this lady also on her cell phone , I asked her Im here to return a trailer and shes like yeah i know !the guy out there is waiting for you, and I say okay . I was just back there and he didnt say anything, thats why Im here, so I go back there ,the guy tells me to remove my stuff, so then i go inside I asked the lady if she needs anything else. From me .she say no. and I asked her if she can make a copy of the receipt and shes we dont have a copy machine here. I said thank you. what a horrible customer service they have.

Just hours after I had a hitch put on (which was a good experience) I had a general question about their 6x12 trailer. The person who answered the phone, REFUSED to answer my question until I had given him my full name, address, phone number, dates of travel, etc. When asked to speak to a manage he said "What? youre not gonna answer my questions? I cant answer your questions until you answer mine first". I asked again for a supervisor, he said he was the only person at the office - even though there were voices in the back. Now, I am doing everything I can to find an alternative to giving them business again.

I returned a trailer I rented from out of town, and they wanted to charge me an extra $20 for an extra day. The time on the contract said Id return it by 12:30pm, and I came around 3. I said "Its only a couple hours, youre going to charge me for a whole day?" The guy looked at the contract, shrugged and asked "You got 10 bucks?" I was thinking sweet, hes giving me a discount. Actually no, what happened was I unknowingly gave him a $10 tip to waive the couple hours. Awesome. Others beware... this is the only place in the area to return rentals and they know it.

I had very little issue with this location. Right off Midway, easy to get to, very visible location from the street. Process was easy to get the rental van, paperwork was fast, and check in even faster. Only small complain I have is that the storage units and the actual sales place are two different buildings, the latter of which is in a smaller building. I walked around the larger building before being directed by someone to the correct place. But, aside from that I have no issues here.

Horrible, horrible, and horrible. Worst customer service you will ever find, The manager Tony is the worst manager i have ever seen in a store. No help at all , and does not know anything about management or customer service. These guys need to take a training course in that field. I would never use their services again. There are many more locations with much better service, Trust me.

Horrible parking. The staff use all of the spots close to the storage entrance. Service is slow. The management is horrible. The roof leaks during rain storms. Their solution was to put plastic over the top of my unit inside the building and not fix the roof. The did not reimburse me for the water damage to my things.

I needed to move some thing from my storage to my house and vice versa, ordered a truck last minute and service was great! I had to wait a tiny bit since it was busy when I got there, understandably. Staff was totally helpful and made pick and return easy and pleasant.

Usually no waiting, excellent service by knowledgeable staff. Propane is king. Kind of busy sometimes. Good place to hire laborers for small to medium remodeling jobs. Helps the homeless and you at the same time and that makes it a win-win for everyone.

They have a great selection and offer 24 hour dropoff. Allowed me to leave my car on site while renting truck. I have used them several times over the years and have always been satisfied.

They wont explain you alot of stuff, then theyll charge you for it! More than an hour to make a report! Had bad experience there
