Ive been seeing Rosealee for years but when I moved to San Francisco and sold my car it was pretty tough to get to San Jose to see her. I still made the trek! Rosealee is that good. Amazing color, cuts and styling. She is a one stop shop. You will walk out looking and feeling fabulous! I am so excited to have her in the City at the Backstage Salon on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Book your appointement with Rosealee now before she gets too busy to take on new clients.

I moved to San Francisco from san Jose recently and could not find a good stylist so I decided to be proactive and find a salon for my San Jose stylist to the Gods, Rosealee. I am happy to say she now works at Backstage in San Francisco and life is good. Rosealee is one of those rare individuals who takes her profession very seriously. Sh is a skilled and exceptional stylist and colorist. Plus she is a stunning individual herself. Go check her out!

Ling was an amazing stylist, she took the time to understand the style I was shooting for and used scissors instead of clippers to get me a better cut. She was able to do my haircut right away as an early Saturday morning walk-in but recommended making a reservation for return visits. Im extremely happy with my new haircut!

I had great experience visiting Backstage Salon in San Francisco. This was my third visit to have a cut by Ken, and he truly understand whats best. His funny, quick-witted, and skilled for his creativity. Store atmosphere is always fresh and new with updated gallery from local artist, and everyone is very professional.

I came to SF 3 years ago, tried a few places and after going to Backstage, I havent looked back. Heather is my personal stylist, but all the stylists are pros. Shes always been accommodating, gives a great cut and goes the extra length for her clients :) Highly recommend!

It was really really bad experience that I had with them. I went there for my wedding and the person (Lin) who did my hair was very unprofessional (attitude and work). She didnt listen to me at all. At the end, my hair wasnt what Id been looking for.

Vadim Safyan did a wonderful job picking out a color for my hair. I have dark, dark hair and was worried the color we were trying for wouldnt take and wouldnt lighten it, but it worked! Hes a color mixing genius.

The stylist Erin is as talented as she is sweet. She listened to my concerns and made appropriate recommendations tailored to my liking. The ambiance is nice, and so is the rest of the staff.
