Gary Michael has been cutting my hair for many years. He is not the first barber in his family, nor the second. His wife is also a beautician. Ive long since moved from the old neighborhood, but always return for my regular haircut and the chance to talk with Gary and exchange the news of the day. I wouldnt go anywhere else. I sometimes fear that in this day of Supercuts, the personal touch of a haircut with a real barber will eventually disappear. Gary is a very decent man, a credit to the neighborhood and a man with many fine ideas. He has, I believe, an established, loyal clientele. Its a pleasure to see him on a regular basis.

*This is an appointment only place* I went there last week Friday after making an appointment a week in advance and the Barber was already waiting for me (even thought the door said closed). My experience was pretty good to be honest, he knew what he was doing and gave me tips on how I can keep my curly hair in my control. It took him a little over 30 mins to cut my hair/shape my beard and it looks pretty good. I like that the store do not take any walk ins and I was given full attention and I didnt feel he was rushed at all. Also all that for a very reasonable price. I will definitely recommend everyone to go to him.

Unfortunately, I have really bad experience with this place. The barber is extremely impolite and lacks of personal etiquette. Working hours of this place are not specified; moreover, they are not open to new clients rather than they focus on their permanent customers, and I guess this is not a good idea to start a business in a new neighborhood with the attitude that is far from "I appreciate your business". The previous reviews of this place are unfortunately advertisements created by the owners, and I hope that google will be remove the reviews due to the fact that spam is not permitted at google maps.

I really enjoy my visits to Ingleside Barber Shop. Always a smooth combination of therapy, relaxation, and excellent service. I highly recommend calling to make an appointment ahead of time and the best place to park is around the corner on Urbano. The first time I went to get a haircut was in October for my wedding anniversary and I have been coming back for a trim ever since.

Hours say they are open till 8. I called in the afternoon asking if this is correct because I wasnt going to make it until 7-7:30; they said, "yes they are open till 8." When I showed up at 7:15 the barber was sitting in a chair on his phone with the door locked. He pointed at the "Closed" sign and kept talking on his phone. Customer service: 0 stars.

Gary may favor repeat clients, but may have been mistaken for rude because he doesnt spend a lot of time on the phone (too busy!) or interrupt a haircut in process for a discussion with a drop-in. You just have to wait your turn! Haircuts are great; good service, no pressure to buy product.

Gary has been my barber for the last 25 years and has been tremendous through out this time. He continues to be a great Barber to his existing clients and is very willing to except new ones. I highly recommend his shop to anyone looking for a new barber in the area.
