Given that we wanted to get married 7 months after we had gotten engaged - and having relatively busy jobs - we decided that we would invest in the services of a wedding planner. We spoke to about 10 different planners, and selected Mandy because of her (i) deep experience with full service planning, (ii) positive references from others who had worked with her, and (iii) flexibility - she had the desire and ability to make anything work (something we found to be true!), unlike other planners who wanted to charge per additional unforeseen task (eg RSVP collection, etc). We also were attracted to her "itll be grand" easy-going style. Seeing we had already chosen a venue, the first phase of us working with Mandy was to construct a budget together and start to get availability for the bigger wedding components (photos, etc). We were impressed with Mandys understanding of the price ranges for each component, as well as her black book of people she had worked with. Put simply, once wed established an approximate budget for each component, and agreed on how much we cared about it, she was quickly able to assemble a host of vendors for each who were (i) available, (ii) of high quality that she could personally vouch for, and (iii) within the price range. She did a really good job of making sure our efforts were only required when fully necessary (eg looking at the vendors website, interviewing them, making the decision) - even the negotiation and payments she made seamless for us, reminding of us of upcoming bills and paying for us wherever possible. Mandy sequenced the researching/finding of each vendor by creating a calendar of when things had to be locked down, and then drove the process according to this calendar. On the day of, Mandy and her team of assistants took care of everything, so that we only had to focus on getting dressed and enjoying the day with our family and friends. Mandy and her team met all the vendors at the church/venue, picked up items that needed to be picked up, and arranged everything to be put in the right place. We were really impressed with how she made all the little touches come together - printed schedule and "get to know you bingo" cards that we had made, making the food truck area really special, arranging photos wed selected into nice decorations and feature pieces, all in a cohesive manner, and at a surprisingly low cost. Bottom line - we are so grateful we got a planner and feel very fortunate to have worked with Mandy. It meant that the limited time we had to work on our wedding could be spent on the most important things (decision making, nice little touches) rather than the necessary-but-time-heavy tasks (vendor selection, negotiation, management, coordination, etc). We would highly recommend Mandy!

Let me start by saying that our wedding was absolutely spectacular! Everything went according to plan and was beautifully orchestrated and executed – all because we chose Mandy Scott and her team. I’ve worked with Mandy to host a few small events before and have always trusted her taste in décor and flowers. But this was the first time I fully appreciated her expertise in organizing large, multi-faceted events. Not only did she ask in-depth questions about what kind of event my fiancé Greg and I envisioned, but she took the time to get to know our style and personality as a couple. As a result, every vendor she recommended to us (invitations, music/band, cake, room décor, photographer, hair/makeup, etc.) were spot-on and exactly what we wanted. In addition, she managed the nitpicky logistics well, such as reminding us when vendor deposits were due or when to schedule a tasting. What’s more, Mandy’s inherent knowledge of the proper wedding and social etiquette helped assure us that everything from our invitation wording to how we were introduced as husband and wife at the reception reflected well on us. Perhaps the best part of having Mandy organize everything is we didn’t have to worry about anything. Her savvy wedding business acumen and experience served as a steady beacon in the throes of planning. As a result we didn’t fret about deadlines or details – we just enjoyed the entire planning process. And on the day of the wedding we simply showed up and Mandy and her team (Savannah Cherry for events and Rhonda Stoffel for flowers) took care of coordinating everything else. Most people I know had some kind of issue on their wedding day or weren’t happy with their planner. If you want to enjoy a worry-free beautiful wedding, book Mandy and her team. The easiest wedding decision my fiance and I made was hiring Mandy. We researched several other event planners but only met with her. We stumbled upon her lovely assistant, Lisa at a Presido event, and both seemed to be in sync with what we envisioned for our big day. Shes a no-nonsense, tell it like it is type. Her price was very reasonable and well worth every penny. Her knowledge of local vendors was spot-on. As with many other brides-to-be, Im sure, my time was already stretched thin working a regular job and trying to plan my wedding. For each vendor and choice, Mandy would ask us a few questions and then had the exact vendor to recommend. She would provide us with about 3, and they were always the cream of the crop. She was excellent at discerning our tastes and picking just the right person for us and our vision for our wedding. She kept us on budget and on-time. She even put up with my particularly lengthy decision process! Our big day was beautiful and went off without a hitch. Im not kidding, not one thing went awry. In fact, by the time it came to dinner we were actually a head of schedule! How many people say that?! She and her team ran everything behind the scenes without being noticed. My new husband and I were able to actually enjoy our day without a care in the world. It was perfect! As an added compliment, a couple of our guests are corporate event planners and they were in awe of how smoothly the entire day went and how everything looked. Mandy expertly guided us in creating such a beautiful space at our reception venue that our guests felt like there were new areas for them to experience all evening. We have received nothing but rave reviews of the entire event. Choosing Mandy will be the easiest decision you make in the course of planning your wedding. You wont regret it!

BEST DAY OF MY LIFE! As a bride you do all that you can in the planning process and then hope for the best. With Mandy you dont have to hope, because you are being taken care of from the beginning. Working with Mandy was not only an amazing experience but she really went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best day of our lives....and it was. She is the best I have ever seen. I have been working in the wedding industry for over 15 years and I have had the opportunity to work with quite a few wedding planners. Mandy and her team exceeded our exceptions in every way. My fiancé and I were married Saturday November 19th at Old Saint Hilarys chapel in Tiburon. We had no idea how to even begin planning a wedding. It rained a lot on our wedding day and things had to be changed or re-routed...Mandy absolutely assured us the entire time that she had everything under control. Everything happened on time and we didnt have to worry about anything. We felt very supported with her. My favorite moment was being announced into the reception with my husband and seeing the room for the first time...I remember taking a huge breath in and tears coming to my eyes at how incredibly beautiful she made our room look.
