The Almaden Valley Athletic Club and AVAC SWIM SCHOOL are absolutely wonderful! Our family have been full members for some 20 years. Each and every year this club re-invest thousands of dollars back into the club. This past two years, each piece of cardio equipment was replaced with touch screen tvs and ipod device. The previous year both mans and womens locker rooms and bath areas were upgraded. The club is impeccably clean with full time staff that constantly cleans. my three children all learned to swim the swimmin school. The instructors all love children, and they show it in the lessons they give. I believe the swim school has become the finest in the country, with the gorgeous pool, and fracility, with retractable roof that opens in the summer. I could not recommend AVAC and AVAC SWIM SCHOOL more highly. They are outstanding well run businesses.

Very bad experience.My daughter can swim in three style,we joined AVAC to learn butterfly stroke. For almost four months, they just let us stuty at very low level. The coach changed frequently without our consent. I talked to the manager, didnt work. They just dont let us upgrade. Different coach has different criteria. Of course my daughter is not perfect, we dont have to be an athlete,we just want to learn something new.Is that too much to ask?

A big fan of AVAC. We have one in swim school already and the other is starting this August. A great place to help children feel comfortable i water and to build confidence one step at a time as they learn to swim.

My kid has been learning swimming here for a few years now. The facility is clean and the classes are well thought out. Only gripe is that the showers are always packed and it can get chaotic every once in a while.

Has everything you could want very helpful staff. Snack bar large screen TV s thru out. Staff is extraordinary, they go out of their way to make your visit a great experience.

An amazing club. I swim so I enjoy the pool but the jacuzzi is where I do most of my thinking for projects I am working on. I have kind of used as a networking pond. Its great!

AVAAC has amazing classes. They are not the kind of gym that pressures you in and wont let you stop paying dues- the business office is quite reasonable and easy to work with!

Good swim school. Instructors talk to you about your childs progress after each lesson. Showers get busy right after lessons.

Had 3 different kids learn to swim here. Teachers were great and it was indoor, so much more consistent.
