My name is David and there is a few things that are pretty bad about this in shape but one in particular. I go every day running, swimming, or core and I happen to try out inshape with a 45 day free trial pass. I run to the gym like always and swim. I get in to the pool around 8am and swim till 8:30am. I then dry off and go to the big room where I see a group of women be instructed on mates. Half the room is empty and I usually dont lift weights so I think, Ill just go on the other half and do my own workout quietly. Little did I know that the instructor, Sandy, would be rude to me and give me a tone about not being allowed to get fit on the half of the side of the room that they werent using. "Its company policy." Its company policy to not get fit, when there is obviously a lot of room. Yeah Sandy. Thanks for being rude to a ex future customer of InShape. I hope making people feel like crap and not letting them work out when there is plenty of space and room for acceptance. I will never buy inshape. The staff has an attitude and when you do have room to work out, the free weights are always packed, they dont let you because of their ego. Have fun being a personal trainer.

I would of give in shape a five but am disappointed. I enjoy going to the gym but, it seems that membership never keeps their word. I signed up and my husband joined a month after we were told that we would recieve a coupon in the mail within a week so we could get our in shape bag. We waited and checked the mail and no coupon arrived. We went back to the same person who signed us up and she told us that it was not a week and we needed to wait a month it is close to three months and no coupon ever arrived and no bag was ever given. In reality the bag isnt important to us but, it would be nice if the company kept their word. I also wanted to give some input. I always hear over the intercom in the pool area telling kids no jumping in the pool. It would be nicer if they would also announce over the intercom of a friendly reminder for members to clean the machines after each use.

I am new to this town and I was looking for a good place to work out and I thought inshape was a good option. I went there and took my child to the childcare and it was not what I thought! One of the girls in the daycare is very rude my daughter have a hard time with her. She is kind of fake she is nice with the people and children she knows and thats not fair. She is there to work, instead she is often taking selfies and texting. We pay for childcare and we expect these ladies to make sure our children feel safe and we also expect them to have some skills to calm down our children when they are new to this type of environment! And it is ridiculous to have to stop our workouts because they cant control children. They are too lazy the less children they have is better for them!!! I am not going to this place anymore

I recently moved here from So Cal where I trained at a Golds Gym, its the best club in Salinas hands down. On par with LA Fitness and 24 Hour. Im used to training in a hard core BB environment and although the equipment is not as comprehensive the club strives to appeal to both the novice and expert with a knowledgeable and friendly staff. I love the early opening time that works with my schedule and it always opens on time. My only complaint is as a early am member the club has not been cleaned up from the night before and the cleaning staff interferes with youre work out.

Just started my membership here. My only dissatisfaction is the pool, it could be alot cleaner for the amount of people that go through there, same with the locker rooms. Sand accumulating on the floor, floating hair and salty water! Other than that its an awsome Gym! Alot of variety and the staff is very helpful and answered all my questions,membership wast fast easy no hassles.What made me really sign up though was In-Shapes reviews and I noticed that In-Shape gos out if its way to keep its members happy and meet their concerns.Keep up the good work.Thank you.

I have been here several times while visiting from out of town. The lap pool is great but a tad too warm and a tad too crowded sometimes. The gym has a huge amount of equipment and a moderate amount of members there in the early morning (7-9). I like using the huge gym/classroom for stretching and body exercises but that means sharing with some rather loud classes that they have scheduled. Fair prices.

I love going to this gym. Im a recovering addict and working out at your gym every day is what helps keep me sober. You guys have so many varieties of workouts and machines I love the Mua Thai boxing bags. Going to try the lap pool to get some cardio and then relax in the sauna to get some of my sore muscles to relax then Im back at the weights. Your customer service is great.

I give this a 4 would have gotten a 5 if you would put out for spray bottles in the new workout area only one bottle in the entire cardio area by the stairmaster and lets get some new rags or at least washed seems like we wipe our machines with the same sweat since everyone is wiping down the machine with the same old dirty rag Two rags per bottle.

I dont have to many options in Salinas. In the past few months this has become one of my favorite places to be at. I am taking 2 stars out because you guys close way to early Saturday and Sunday and I feel the location is not clean like other locations in had visited before. I like your friendly crew!

Ive been a customer since 3 years ago. And nearly 1 month ago bathrooms are always dirty, there are no paper towels. The machines are dirty dusty. Also the sauna and steam are dirty and clients come with tennis shoes. I not sure what is happen . I recommend to be focus in it. thank you!

Large gym and they just expanded it but the free weight area was only moved and not expanded - way too small and always overcrowded. The owner(s) should take a trip and check out Golds Gym in Mountain View sometime

I went 6/18/2016 the steam room smell so bad we ask on front desk if somebody can wash but they say they are busy havent not time when they only speak and doing anything.... The answer just is laugh!!!!0

I joined for the pool. What a disappointment! Way too hot for real swimmers, and kids in my lane 4 times!!!! They tell me this isnt a good enough reason to let me out of my contract.
