Its right at my freeway exit to home. So close that sometimes I walk. They frequently have an unadvertised special 2-for-1 Taquitos - a real bargain when its on. Id give them higher ratings if corporate would stop changing the menu so often. Ill see something advertised with big window banners when I drive by, then a few days later Ill ask for it, and its already gone. I wouldnt even mind if the "sale" price was over, but what happens is the item just isnt available. What they do have is always good and well priced, and its not a "bait and switch" at all, but sometimes I still feel a little like Ive been tricked. The corporate web site claims this location has the Fosters Freeze partial menu available too, but that hasnt been the case for many months, probably a year.

El Pollo Loco is a mexican faux fast-food chain. They offer a variety of different options for those who enjoy mexican themed fast food. They specialize in chicken dishes, but have other options such as beef, pork, and vegetarian. This particular branch (San Jose) is not the very best. Service is usually *very* slow, and theres always only one person working as a cashier, no matter how long the lines are (and they *do* get long). Theres also the problem of cleanliness; Im not a squeamish person at all, but tables are almost always dirty and its not uncommon to have flies buzzing around. When ordering on the drive-thru, make sure to double check your order once you receive it. Ive lost count of the number of times I got home and noticed they made a mistake in my order.

Again you guys give me wrong food. I ordered shrimp quesadilla but got chicken again, and Im already all the way home! Again! I can even tell you how many times I drive all the way back to exchange the wrong food you guys give to me, I did that just last week, and today again... You suck! Im so upset this kept happening to me. Maybe next time Ill take a bite my food before leave there... This time a nice lady I guess shes a manager drop off the right food after I called them, thats very nice of her. Please, educate your employee the deference between SHRIMP and CHICKEN! How hard is that?

Came to cali from Iowa my fiancé use to live in cali he loves this place so he took me here on our first day in cali. I like it. I had the over stuffed quesadillas 2 different ones on each trip the first trip I had the southwest chicken avacado and I just had the chicken fajita avacado I like the first one better the Midwest Omaha area needs a store like this! He loves the 4 peice half chicken meal.

PLEASE have your workers wear gloves for sanitaion. one person wearing one glove while your handling food is not good, handling money and food at the?same time. ckeanig the floor then going back in the kitchen cross contamination happens. keep your workers seperate from the food.

OK. I gave tried all the shrimp items and let me tell you every single one is a ripoff and a total disappointment. They have no taste and they hardly give you anything. Bottom line dont but anything with shrimp on it. The chicken is all right.

Decent food much of the time. Employees range from super nice to rude. Check your food before you leave, they do mess up orders fairly consistently, and sometimes the quality varies drastically.
