Ive had the pleasure of working with Jason and his recruiting agency, Jobspring Partners, since my move to the San Francisco Bay area. Jason and his staff have constantly kept in touch with me from the get-go like no other agency, and helped me land an exciting opportunity with a top organization that best matches my skill-set and background. Jason has built very good relationships with various senior-level managers/executives within the semiconductor/IT industries, which gives him an edge over other recruiters and agencies by placing job applicants where they would best excel in an organization. I also believe his personable nature, honesty, and ability to provide great advice is what I appreciated the most. The thing that stood out for me the most is that the agency took the time to initially meet me in person, get to know me and what skill-set I possess, and to understand what I was looking for in my next job. Working with Dan as my recruiter, one word stands out; and that is "professional". Dans professionalism stands out among the many technology recruiters out there because of his experience in the recruiting industry, knowledge of the competitive technology domain in the Silicon Valley and personal skills with opportunity seekers. Dan listened to what opportunities I was searching for, and most importantly to which jobs I didnt want. He is straight forward telling you things you might not want to hear, but is the hard hitting truth. He wont waste your time with banter/smalltalk (unless you want that), his job is helping me find an opportunity and there is no question in my mind that he didnt waste anytime with that goal. From the informative prep he gives you before your interviews to the constant feedback he provides afterwards, he truly felt like my personal agent willing to fight with me every step of the way.

Viet and Erin are great at what they do at JobSpring SV. Viet was the most personable recruiter I worked with during my job hunt process in January and February of 2012 and Erin is definitely the most enthusiastic and positive recruiter I have met. During my first visit to their office, he was able to find me three companies that wanted to interview me that day and he constantly kept in touch and updated me with new opportunities that came up. Due to Viets technical background, it was also nice he understood the specifics of my background and was able to find very good job openings that matched my skill levels. He also thoroughly covered any and all questions I had regarding the interview processes with the companies thus being a very good mediator. If I ever need to find another job, I will try to get Erin, Viet, and the team at JobSpring Silicon Valley to help me find my next opportunity.

So first of all, I have started my new job last week! And this was with great help from JobSprings staffs. Specifically, Scott, Adam, and Jessica was the team that helped me finding this job (I was employed by another Tech company before this). They were very thorough regarding screening and profile matching. They asked me what I wanted and in my case, team, technology, and product (and I did mention as long as compensation is reasonable to the market, Im good). They did a good job on technical and non-technical skill matching (based on some face-to-face discussions, rather then just my resume). With that, I had multiple interviews within a week and had multiple offers. My observation is that they are very open and honest to both the hiring company and the candidates. I would recommend them to any good qualifying friends.

Daniel was my assigned recruiter along with a team of recruiters from JobSpring Partner and I must say, I found the perfect job for me. Although he provided me alternative companies with different tech-stacks and locations, he was great about listening to what I wanted out of a company and what my ideal role would be at a company. There was one specific company he mentioned that I really connected with and throughout the process Daniel was on top of being the middle man; from phone calls to getting updates, he kept me in synch with the entire process until, no... even after I got my offer letter. If a situation was to occur where a friend of mine is seeking a software engineering role, I would not have them spare a minute and tell them to give Daniel a call.

Jason was the best recruiter I have worked with. He has close relationships with many big name employers that hire mobile developers. So I was able to interview with many dream companies. He took time to meet me in person in his office to understand me much deeper than a typical recruiter does. Since I have quite a few short stints with multiple companies, Jason coached me on how to present myself properly and he helped to calm some employers concerns over this. Jason tirelessly set up many phone and onsite interviews for me over a two month period. He provided sensible advice to me whenever I sought his help. Jasons communication is clear, honest and concise too, a total pleasure to work with. I can recommend Jason to any engineer without reservation.

Working with Jobspring, especially with Khaaliq is a very pleasant experience! I spent lots of time searching a company that matches my experience and skill sets before talking with Khaaliq. Khaaliq has a very good understanding of candidates background and companys needs, and did very well in matching them. I was also impressed by the professionalism of JobSpring. They invite candidate to JobSpring for an initial interview and go through the resume in details to have a better understanding what the candidate is looking for. Throughout the interview process, Khaaliq followed up with employers promptly, and did great job as a coordinator! I would highly recommend Khaaliq and JodSpring if you are looking for a software engineer position.

If you live in the bay area and have any level of software on your resume, you know what it is like to get called by recruiters. However, when Viet called me I thought he was a fellow software engineer for the first 10 minutes. He knew exactly what kinds of technology I was looking to work with and even had knowledge about the popular opinions of those services. It was great to have someone to talk to about tech who was so excited and dedicated to finding me work. Within the first few hours of talking to Viet, he already had a few great companies ready to interview me. He is fast, efficient and very detail oriented. This review is for Viet and his team at Jobspring Partners. I can heartily recommend Viet, who was the matchmaker between my current company, Cloudera and I. Jobsprings process, as adopted by the team lead by Viet, was very impressive, involving some fast initial sorting of potential job candidates, which I am sure my employer appreciated, followed my a series of more in-depth interviews. It is by far the best structured interviewing process Ive experienced, and through this his team was brilliant. Viet and Rachel McCafferty are both dynamos, highly knowledgeable, always available and always enthusiastic. A day before I was about to conclude my job hunt and accept an offer, Viet gave me a call, and said that he could get me a better job with better pay. I put my trust in him, and within 3 days, he delivered. He connected me with companies I would have never discovered on my own, got me face-to-face interviews, and found me a position I was much happier with. Viet understood exactly what I was looking for and was able to match my needs with the needs of the companies.
