What stands out about BeautyBox is consistency. Whether Im getting threaded, waxed or my hair done; I know that Ill be leaving happy and completely satisfied! I love that Kaya is constantly educating you on what shes doing and why shes doing it. She truly knows how to personalize your experience and her passion shines through her work!! Now, I need to talk about the products. All of which Kaya tested for months before she opened, just so she can whole-heartedly stand behind what she sells! (You wont find that just anywhere) My heart grew a couple sizes the day Kaya introduced me to Rhonda Alison.. you had me with that Derma Peel!! Seriously, you need to try it when you go in. Its a non-abrasive, gel exfoliant that you can use anywhere on your body, including your sensitive face :) Later on I purchased the travel pack Anti-Aging line, annnd Ive never been more satisfied! Out of all the brow products, my two favorites are the Kelley Baker tinted brow gel and that pencil highlighter! Since I usually dont wear a ton of make up, its my brow bff when I just need a quick finished look on the go. If youre going in for a bikini wax and youve ever struggled with ingrown hairs, the Starpil hair puller is the light at the end of the tunnel!! I love that its a spray, and it still works even if you dont use it everyday. Im so thankful to have found my happy place, in the heart of the happiest place in America!

I am happy I discovered Beauty Box SLO, at 17 Chorro near Starbucks/Jamba Juice off of Foothill. I encourage everyone to try this new threading, body waxing and styling business. I am a senior citizen, new to the threading, hair removal process, but the need for hair removal affects us all. I have had facial waxing with Kaya and others before but am now a threading convert. Kaya has threaded my upper lip, neck and chin twice and I am very happy that it is lasting longer than waxing and is less painful than plucking and electrolysis. Kaya offers many other beauty services, threading is just the newest that I have tried in her recently opened, cozy and attractive salon. Check it out, I think you will be pleased.

Beauty Box is hands-down my favorite beauty salon in this community. I was initially frustrated with the eyebrow grooming options in SLO - either too rough, or else too expensive - and with this spirit, I gave Beauty Box a go. Kaya is a skilled threader: careful, precise AND gentle. She listens to the clients and makes sure they end up looking and feeling their best. I have been going to beauty box for a few months now and Kaya is amazing at doing eyebrows! She is super professional, very precise on what shes doing, extremely sweet, and wants you too look good! She will give her opinion on what she can do to improve your eyebrows and checks with you before doing anything first and i really think thats important. She definitely knows what shes doing and is really good at it my eyebrows have never looked this good befoe until i started going to her! I would absolutely always recommend her! And on top its only 10$ which is very reasonable!

Kaya is amazing!! I have extremely sensitive skin so I just recently started getting my eyebrows threaded with her. She is so kind and understanding when it comes to listening to her clients. She worked with me to get the eyebrow shape that I wanted and after only 3 sessions I got them reshaped into a bold yet natural look. My pain tolerance is fairly low so she explained to me the process and went at my pace which made me feel very comfortable and amazing! Great location and great service, and definitely would recommend to anybody looking to step up their eyebrow game!

I had never gotten my eyebrows threaded before but after about the hundredth time breaking out from waxing I decided to give threading a try and I am so amazed at the results. It is so much cleaner of a line than waxing and my skin isnt inflamed immediately after and I have zero breakouts which I am so happy about. Kaya made me feel really comfortable and made my brows exactly how I wanted them, I dont think they have ever looked so good. I 100% recommend, your brows and your skin will thank you!

Always the best experience here! Kaya takes the time to make sure the services are perfect and just the way you want. Before we started threading my eyebrows were two different shapes and since then she has taken the time to reshape them and it has totally changed my face. The threading is not painful at all as compared to places I have tried before. Waxing services are amazing here as well. She is so sweet and makes everything very comfortable. Kaya is awesome! Make an appointment so you wont have to wait, although her services are worth waiting for. I have gotten my eyebrows threaded and a basic blowout. I am so happy she opened Beautybox. If you have never gotten your brows threaded, I highly recommend you try it. Ive been getting mine threaded for over 18 years. Kaya is gentle and a great brow designer. She has great customer service and is super sweet.

Kaya is amazing all of these reviews are spot on.!!. The first time I went into beauty box my eye brows were uneven and needed a make over.. Within 2 visits she was able to level them out and make me feel beautiful again :) Kaya makes you feel welcomed and does a wonderful job every single time .
