I reached out to Santa Cruz Staffing as I was transitioning out of a temporary position and initially connected with Gretchen. Gretchen was clear in communication when describing what I should expect prior to moving forward. She provided honest feedback and it allowed me to put things into perspective. Eventually, I was connected with Ellen who was extremely helpful and supportive during my job search. During our first meeting, Ellen took the time to go over my resume and break down what I needed to do in order to strengthen my appeal. From the very start she was already sending out my resume to spaces she thought Id be a good fit. What I appreciated the most was that during times of rejection, Ellen remained positive about my potential and kept me focused on the positive/moving forward. She was very professional but also personable throughout my time with her. Im grateful for the work and time that Ellen and Santa Cruz Staffing invested in me because they made me feel valuable, especially during times of hopelessness. As a result, Ive secured an exciting and wonderful opportunity to be used in a space thats going to challenge me and further my growth both personally and professionally. I have had such a great experience so far with this agency! From the moment I put in my resume and filled out their application, Ive been treated really well. They called me the day after i had put in my application and started the process of getting me ready to work with them, and that was before theyd even agreed to take me on. I was so glad to be offered help taking the tests and improving my scores. And even though at first my qualifications werent exactly what they were looking for, instead of telling me "sorry, better luck next time," they took a chance and worked hard to find me entry level office work to help me build experience. My first gig lasted a whole month! And they got me a second one right away. I dont think you can expect better, more extensive help finding work from any other agency. Santa Cruz Staffing really cares about getting people who want to work opportunities to do so. The personal attention you get from them will feel so much better than the lonely, often rejection filled process of looking for work on your own. The contract for my previous job was ending and as a recent college graduate with little professional experience, I was beginning to panic that I would soon be without work. Ive heard great reviews on temp-to-hire placement agencies and decided to give Santa Cruz Staffing a call. Emily, Ellen, and Gretchen all are absolutely amazing! Just a few short days after meeting with Ellen in person and getting much needed input/advice on making my resume shine, she had 3 interviews lined up for me! I went to the first interview and got offered the job that same day. While that was incredibly exciting, in between the interview and getting the call for the offer, Ellen had called to check in on how the interview went. I was nervous and felt I did not to well, but Ellen was always encouraging and we discussed different strategies to try for interviews I might have in the future. Two and a half months later, I am still happily working in my assignment with the hope of being taken on permanently. Words cannot express how truly grateful I am for the outstanding team at Santa Cruz Staffing!

I love Santa Cruz Staffing for all their help and support finding me work over the past year. I met Senior Recruiter Ellen Anderson at a job fair in early 2015 - I was in need of work and had been unable to find something on my own. Ellen went right to work on my behalf. She was so thorough - she called me at least once daily to review the jobs she had, discuss the requirements and ask for my input as to whether they seemed a good fit. Within the first week or two of working with Ellen, and several job interviews, I had two job offers. WOW! The job I accepted lasted 8 months and when it came to an end, it took just a phone call to get Ellen once again on the hunt for the perfect job for me. I now have what I hope will be a full-time permanent job. Should the time ever come where Im again unemployed, I wont hesitate calling her as I know shell be there to help. Besides being very personable, she has shown insight and worked very hard to match my experience with the right position and employer. My first employer interview was scheduled soon after our first meeting. Santa Cruz Staffing has been SUCH a great help in my job search. I have been searching for a new career for almost a year with little luck. I have all the right skills and am a phenomenal worker but the competition is just so stiff in this small area that I would get close but just not close enough to get the jobs I wanted.
