This is one of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with!!! I had a bed ordered through QVC and the bed was supposed to be delivered set up and moved to any room of my choice in my home and the old bedding and packaging removed by AML delivery men. 2 male drivers showed up today at my house and refused to set up my bed and take the packaging off. When I proceeded to call their company to make them aware of how the bed was supposed to be delivered, the company rep wanted to speak to the delivery driver he refused to talk to her on the phone. He instead is talking in spanish to his partner, and calls the female rep from his phone and is yelling at her in my hallway down the hall. When I say totally disrespectful, unprofessional delivery men that is a understatement. The female rep after being bullied by the delivery men comes back to the phone and says oh yeah they are not suppose to set up. I once again said yes this is how the bed was sold by QVC, and I let her know I will be calling QVC about her sorry delivery men, Serta, and Home Direct USA which is the company that hired them. After making all those calls I hear from Brenda a rep with ARL, and of course the drivers went back with lies about what was said and done, and the driver told Brenda I touched him. Not only were drivers unprofessional they also lie? I have no reason to touch anyone when I am educated and know how to make phone calls and get results. I advice anyone to by pass this company and find another company to handle your deliveries, because this company hires anyone as can be seen in the lack of professionalism in their staff. I would love to speak with the CEO/owner of American Relocation & Logistics, Inc. and see if this is acceptable for their staff to treat any customer let alone female customers? I will tell everyone I know about this pitiful company, and oh yes word of mouth advertisement is the most effective method of letting the world know when you are an awesome company and when your service SUCKS, as this one did today. Sincerely, Ms. Brown Los Angeles, CA

Just completed a long distance move from Irvine, CA to Dallas TX. I had just completed another move of my mother-in-law recently - so I felt I knew what I was looking for. Got 3 estimates from the large moving van companies - all 3 were very close in estimated weight and cost. I decided to go with American Relocation and Logistics (Mayflower) because of the 4 day delivery window they were willing to commit to. Services included full pack, load and unloading. Pre-coordination went very smoothly - the Mayflower website was very easy to follow and use. On the day of packing, 5 guys showed up and packed everything - they were all very respectful and worked hard. They finished in about 8 hours (about 200 boxes). The driver (Jesse) and his team showed up promptly on loading day - they immediately went right to work and calmly went about their work. Many times in the past, moving day has been very chaotic but there was none of that with them. Our stuff took up about 1/2 the van and they were done by about 3 pm. Jesse said he would be in touch and also gave me his cell number. In Dallas, Jesse and our belongings showed up right as scheduled. The offload was done just with Jesse and his driving partner. Again, very respectful and careful to assure nothing was damaged. They completed the offload in about 4 hours. I was very pleased with the overall move. Only comment I will make is that the labeling of the boxes that they packed could have been a little better. So far, we have not found anything missing or damaged. Also, the final weight came in within 500 lbs of the original estimate of 14,500 lb. Would highly recommend them for anyone with a long distance move.

Overall, everything worked out as perfect as it could and that is what really matters. They showed up on time at the origin and destination. All of our items were accounted for and nothing was broken. At both the origin and destination the movers were efficient, careful, and courteous. Before the move date, during the move, and after, Mayflower was in contact with us about the ETA of our items. In my previous move (Ohio to Southern California), my wife and I used another company (New Planet Moving) and we had a horrible experience (you can read my review on Yelp about them to know the details). We admit that we were afraid another cross-country move would be equally as bad. Mayflower definitely restored our trust in moving companies. Highly recommend them, especially if your move is long distance.

I recently relocated from CA to FLA. I contacted the major movers and had each come by and make an estimate. I chose Mayflower because Tony, who created the bid was very thorough and took the time to explain the end to end process, go to the storage unit and worked with me on pricing. He was friendly and professional and very knowledgeable. The crew that came to pack and load did not disappoint on either end of the move. They were respectful, friendly and worked quickly. Charles kept in touch with me to set good expectations on when my stuff would arrive. They even made it earlier than expected. In fact they exceeded my expectations in every facet of the move. I am totally delighted and would recommend these folks to anyone who wants an effortless and professional move. Thanks gentlemen!

Though it wasnt perfect, when I had a concern, Mayflower came through to answer that concern above my expectation. For example, I thought I was told the delivery truck would offload our things two days after they were loaded. I was then told near move date it would be 3-5 days. When I expressed my concern... they arranged to offload the day after the load. The moving crew was a pleasure to work with, and Scott, the initial agent that had been contacted and did the initial walk-through did a great job for us. Thanks Mayflower.

Avoid at all costs. Everything i have ordered from the internet and delivered by this company has arrived damaged. They are slow to return shipments and difficult to get a hold of for customer service. They dont wait for you, not willing to let you inspect your shipment, poor attitudes and terrible delivery schedules. F rating. Its worth it to pay $100 for shipping from some other shipping company than have these people show up at your house.

They called me a day before, the day of and when they were outside. They were on time, quick, efficient. They were very amicable, clean, and very helpful. I have no complaints and was very satisfied with their services (from initial contact to final delivery). I read the prior reviews and was a bit concerned BUT they were nothing like the bad reviews. Two males, an older gentleman and a young man, were very, very, very nice.

I have spent all day trying to schedule a delivery with this companys Norwalk office. It has been a nightmare. First there is only a voice mail. Then someone called back and said they could not deliver up stairs. When I agreed to meet at the bottom of stairs to retrieve package she hung up on me. That was 10:30 am. Ive called back 4 times since then and received NO call back. It is now 5:30pm. This is just to SCHEDULE the delivery!
