Beware of Knox Roofing. After many complaints to Warren Knox of rude and unprofessional business practices and no reply, I published my complaints. Only then did I receive a reply from Knox Roofing, ridiculing my complaints, justifying the bad behavior, and threatening retaliation if I did not shut up. But I can speak freely because services were not requested here other than to stop and there’s no contractual obligation to be silent. My complaints here are of Knox Roofing using the streets where I live in Salinas as a yard and for advertising, disturbing neighbors in this residential area. This has been going on since Feb. 2017, even after requests to stop. Knox’ truck, about 9 feet in height with billboard-size signs, regularly parks in front of homes where theres no job for hours or days at a time before dispatched. Knox’ use of the streets here also disturbs neighbors when the truck is parked to block the view of traffic from a driveway or the street, or causes another disruption of life here.

The Knox Roofing owner, managers and employees were all top notch and professional. If any issues or concerns arose they took care of it in a timely manner. The cost of the new roof was very reasonable and the roofing job was completed in 3 days. I am happy to recommend Knox Roofing to anyone needing repairs or a roof replacement. If you get a chance stop by their showroom they have a lot of unique wooden carvings, sculptures, furniture, bird houses, Knox garden boxes and more.

While working on my roof at my apartment complex Knox Roofing employees ended up dropping large (6"x6") pieces of sheet metal (with sharp edges) and other debris off my roof that put 2 holes in a green house that I use for an artist studio on my porch!!! Now I have to get it replaced, especially before the rain, so everything inside doesnt get ruined!!!! This seems like a real safety issue, and their lack of positive communication to get this resolved is astounding!

Knox Roofing is a top-notch firm. They focus on a quality job and dont cut corners. Other roofers might promise a job on the cheap but youll pay more in the end. They also go by the book on their workers safety. As a home owner, I dont want to be held liable for cutting corners on worker safety. And, their people are friendly. AAA

Very poor customer relations, and business practices. They got burned by another customer, therefore asked for 100% payment upfront from me before starting my job. Who in their right mind would pay a contractor 100% upfront, before they start a job. It is surprising to me that they have been in business so long.

You would be the last person I would EVER ask to do a job for me! You may think youre cute or funny, but trust me, you arent even close! I hate all your ads!

Recently has a complete new roof installed. They did a tip top job, more than I expected and at a much lower price than other roofers. Workers were very polite and cleaned up at the end of every day. By the way... I love his cheesy commercials! At least they are funny, sincere, and to the point.

I requested an invoice from Knox Roofing about a month ago and I have yet to receive one. The customer should not be requesting an invoice for a job that needs to be repaired. Unbelievable! Plus the receptionist that answers the phone is the most unfriendly person.
