I dont why the fella, Nello, below me, is going off on some racist tangent about how they dont speak enough English here; or about how not enough English language television is being watched; and so on and so forth. News for Nello: get used to it, chump, because Latin Americans are here to stay (you could always ask them to change the channel--Im sure theyd be only too happy to oblige your request). Personally, I give no credence to gender, ethnicity, religion, or whatever else a person may be affiliated with... the fact of the matter is that Manny and his staff are very attentive to your hair and quite keen on how you want it styled. Jack is right: they dont engage you in nonsensical chit-chat: rather, they cut your hair with diligence and great concentration. Absolutely love the work that they do for $14!

I chose Mannys based on the excellent reviews I saw on Yelp and Google, and I am not disappointed! The readings are accurate and well deserved; this is my best experience getting my hair cut. I walked in without an appointment and was immediately directed to Maria, who seated me. Maria was patient and listened intently while I explained what I was after. Once she explained what she envisioned and I agreed, she got started. Maria worked quietly (which is fine!), so I scanned the rest of the barbershop periodically and always noted the friendly yet meticulous service that each barber provides, Maria included. I ended up with the best fade Ive ever had, not to mention the overall haircut! I already consider myself a regular at Mannys!

I used to try a new barber every few months, only to be disappointed with a hair cut that looked like I just walked out of Super Cuts, Fantastic Sams or Sport Clips. I found Mannys 10 years ago. I have never been anywhere since. Mannys has the best haircuts, barbers and fades in all of Los Angeles! They actually spend time to make sure your hair is perfect. Do not expect a quick cut at Mannys. Go to SuperCuts for a 5 minute hair cut. Mannys barbers use different techniques and tools to get your fades perfect. There is no such thing as coming home to find stray hairs or lines from a bad haircut!

WARNING!! Dont get your hair cut here!! I came in and got right into a chair even though there were people waiting (I now know why). This mexican lady obviously does not know what shes doing nor does she make sure she knows what you want. I came in and asked for a low fade and I left looking like I came out of boot camp with a high fade. Worst of all the owner Manny comes over and lies to my face telling me thats a low fade. I did not want to pay for the botched haircut and he tells me never to come back. Great customer service Manny!!

Manny, you have been my hair man for the last 7 or more years. Very consistent, thats what I like about your place. You can always expect to get the correct cut, even after all these years. I also refered few people to you, but the one we always talk about, is coming to you all the way from Calabasas also for the last 6 - 7 years. Been coming here for over a year. Ive gotten fades, faux hawks, Mohawks, comb-over fades with the hard-part. Every time its been on point. Friendly barbers, welcoming atmosphere, ESPN on the tv, mix of all ethnicities and ages. I drive 20 mins from UCLA just to get my haircut here. This is the spot, my barber is Rafael. CASH ONLY so hit the ATM before coming, or use theirs at the back of the store.

Ive been going to this barbershop for over a year now and I always wait for Nelson. There are usually 3 or so people waiting for him even when there are other barbers available and its a testament to his skill. Only downside is they used to take credit but now only accept cash and they raised their prices recently. Inflation I guess.

Cant find a regular (old style) barbershop? Surrounded by corporate McHaircut salons? If you want to avoid the $20 Salon cuts try Mannys. $14 included hot foam on the neck/ears for finishing touches. I like how the guy just cut my hair without having to engage me in tedious smalltalk. And sorry, but they dont stock "product".

In the past 2 months ive been to stylists with prices as high as 50 dollars for a single cut and still not felt absolutely satisfied with the outcome. But here at mannys no matter how many times ive come with different styles they always completely exceed my expectations! This place is a must and absolutely worth every penny!

This is a great neighborhood place to get a haircut. Manny and his staff are friendly, efficient, and do a great job cutting my hair. Why would I go to a chain store when I can support a local small-business, that also has better prices? As long as I live in this neighborhood, Ill be going to Mannys.

Mannys barbershop is a wonderful place to get a haircut. The barbers are experts at cutting hair and are also very friendly. Also, the shop is nice and clean and has a flat screen TV showing sports for your entertainment. It sure beats going to Supercuts. I would recommend Mannys barbershop to anyone.

My first time was good no more than 20 minutes wait. Second time was better but this time I came with my one year old son. Didnt know what to expect since it is not a day care but he was in his stroller. Gilberto took care of me within 10 minutes. Great service!!!!!!!! Kudos to all of them....

Lorena was fantastic! She handled my hair like a pro! Ive been going to Paul Mitchell for years in frustration taking hours to cut my hair, now I have found the golden spot to get my hair cut the way I want it for the first time without the fuss!! Thank you Lorena at Mannys!!!! Ill be back!

When i went to my old barber shop in arleta, he could never cut the side burns just right, but MANNYS BARBER SHOP, they will take their time, trust meh, i highly recommend going here for the best line ups, mohawks, fohawks, tapers, or just a casual cut, yuh ask for it they give it.

Manny and his team do great job cutting my hair. I love that it is close to my house. I usaully get a haricut on the weekends and get to watch football or basektball while Im getting a haircut. Just ask to change the channel if they are not watching what you would like.

I moved to LA from NYC almost a year ago. It was hard to find a real barbershop that knows what theyre doing around here. Manny and his brother are really good guys, they cut hair really well. This is the one and only spot if you are looking for a good barbershop!

Ive been going here for six years and I have always gotten a clean cut. Also, he has cut my sons hair for four years and he says that he loves it and that Manny and Nelson are the two best barbers with exceptional haircutting skills.The prices are also amazing!
