Quality: Poor-Pathetic Jan 7th - I had my lamb skin car seat covers and headrest covers (retail >$400) outsourced to Snow Cleaners by my local dry cleaners. I paid $200 for the cleaning (more than Ive ever paid in the past for this type of cleaning) and received my covers in a reasonable amount of time (2 weeks). The head-rest covers were in a sealed plastic bag. When I got home and opened the bag I was made sick by the overwhelming smell of chemicals. Two of the four covers in additional to the stench were molting. It looked as like they had mange (large chunks of wool were falling out of the backing). I returned the head-rests to Snow via my local cleaner with the promise that I would get a call from Snow Cleaners. I received a phone call from an unknown number around 7 in the morning! I did not answer and no one left a voice mail. I tried to return the call when I realize it might be this (at the time) unknown cleaning company (area code Stockton). Someone picked up but then immediately hung up on me. I tried several more times that day to call and there was no answer and no voice mail box. I informed my local cleaner of my phone call experience and he said that someone at Snow had tried to call but never got through and complained that I didnt have a local area code phone number (Lame). After several weeks my local guy informed me that Snow would be replacing the head-rest covers and asked where I bought them. I told him the company I bought them from had changed names or was out of business (I couldnt find them online) but that there were several companies on Ebay that were selling new covers similar to mine. I made a list of the replacement options but was told Snow didnt want them. Several more weeks later (now the end of February), I received the "replacement" covers. But guess what...they were the original covers without the chemical stench now, but where the fur had fallen out there were patches of new fur (a totally different shade of gray than the original fur and a different nap) that were barely glued into the bald spots....I started laughing. This was outrageous. I PAID to have these people maim and motley my expensive covers?!?!? And they expect me to be ok with that? I then inspected my seat covers which I had originally thought were fine but found that they too were molting. I had no patience left. I took all my covers back to my cleaners, told him I wanted a refund for my cleaning and compensation for my ruined seat covers. He gave me the phone number of the delivery driver for Snow and told me to talk to the company manger (a man, no name). I called the driver who obviously didnt know anything and he directed me to a 1-800 number. I called the 1-800 number and left a message with some employed named Danelle (or similar) who said they would pass my message on right away and Id receive a call back from the manager. Another week passed...Nothing. I then called the 1-800 number every single day only to get an employee who told me her manager worked maybe 3 days a week if that and she never knew which days she was coming in and she sure wish she would come in because she needed to talk to her. Outrageous. One time I was transferred to the managers voicemail box and guess what...IT WAS FULL!!! Over a week of calling and leaving messages with employees went by with absolutely no call backs. Finally, I got someone who seemed to know something though not the manager (Wendy). She was very nice and sympathetic and listened to my whole story and was adamant that she would pass my message on to the right people. Guess what....a week latter....NO CALL BACK. My poor local cleaner was very kind and reimbursed me the cleaning fee but said not to expect reimbursement for my loss of covers. I am now reporting Snow Cleaners and its managers Teresa and Herald to the Better Business Bureau for failure to make amends for destruction of my property and for unprofessional business practice. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

I have been in the dry cleaning business for over 27 years and have sent Snows cleaners over a thousand leather jackets. Never had any problems with their workmanship. They do a good job.
