Aside from 1 month out of a whole year and I have a friend who never is out of work - I always have full time work with Staffmark. Never had to worry. See the key with Staffmark is being patient and doing what you need to do. Calling once a week when available, arriving to ALL JOBS 15 mins early. Putting away my cell phone until breaks/lunch. Listening to instructions. If you dont do that - the staff will have a hard time finding work for you since you dont follow instructions. Many who have trouble with Staffmark are the type who want to talk on their phone at the wrong time, show up late constantly or wait until the last minute to show up, and dont listen to instructions. None of the employers will waste their time with you - you wont get a warning - just get sent home. The people who do listen get moved to the top of the list and tend to get first calls for a job when they call in available. Or stick with a company for months and tend to get hired. As of right now - they have 2 good jobs and they are long hours with plenty of overtime - but the perks are awesome. Especially the pay and steady work. If you have RF scanner experience or got a food handlers certification - go for Staffmark. And, these employers will buy you lunch from time to time and other things. When arriving for the first time --- Be patent when you arrive, bring your two forms of ID, and one of the staff will call you when they get off the phone. They dont use a secretary, so dont think they are ignoring you or something. Each of the staff deal with all assignments and calls, so it can get busy at times. The rest of the process is pretty straightforward. And everyone in the office is awesome.

I worked there for almost a month for forklift operator at a job called synceon, never got my full 40 hrs, forgot to clock in and told the on-site manager about the situation, she said she fixed it the next 2 days I couldnt clock in or out and she told me dont worry about it and what do you kno the next week I had an 8 hour check, called her that Friday and explained to her about the situation and she had an attitude gave her my time when I was there and she told me it will be on the next check and here we go again wasnt deposited into my account! I never had a problem with the other staffmark in long Beach other than the recruiter telling me that I was making enough money! I wouldnt dare work with another Staffmark unless they change they staff. Go to Manpower they pay more for your experience, staffmark dont care about your experience they just waiting to make money off you!

They dont communicate often as should be, they lie about me when I really need to see the clinic about my injury but they told the agency I didnt know what to do. They rip you off and do dirty business. I dont trust them anymore and Im done with them. Dont join Staffmark. Trust me. Its not worth of your time.

Lady at the far end desk did not get her name was extremely rude. And neither one of the workers care to acknowledge anyone who walks in. Busy or not they need have A1 customer service and being a staffing agency should want to have a good atmosphere. The place is sketchy, rude employees, had to walk out
