AppleOne is a scam! They only care about your reference contacts because they have far too many applicants and very few positions to fill.... My sister and I both went to two different AppleOne locations and we share the same poor experiences. When we arrived at the AppleOne office locations we were directed to sign our lives away before we could even speak to anyone. Once we finally met with the recruiters, over an hour later, they sold us on these wonderful positions with well known, reputable corporations. But after we left, we never heard from them and we had to constantly reach out to them. They proceeded with contacting our current employers, government and fortune 500 companies, and they tried to sell them on their recruiting services because they would need to fill our positions!!! First of all, we never told them that we were leaving our current jobs, and second how embarrassing that they are going to try to perform their sales pitch on our current employers?? I highly recommend applying other well known places like Indeed and Careerbuilder. Dont let these people scam you too!!

Promises, promises and more promises, but nothing in the end. If you love wasting your time, then apply at this agency. I am almost positive that you can do much better on your own, as I have. At the very least, l have been able to manage to interview at a few companies, as opposed to Apple One, which has sent me to zero interviews so far. I am beginning to think that agencies are just a total waste of time, as all they do is get applicants names so they can sell it to spammers or whatever else it is that they do with our information, except for actively searching for jobs for us. Who knows, maybe this is either how they make their money, or make more money this way. I promise you, I am not just ranting for the sake of ranting, as I have registered with over two dozen agencies and none of them have come through for me for years, since I have registered with all of them. Anyway, good luck to all the job applicants out there and remember, you can do better yourselves, believe me!

I have been working with many temporary agencies and could never find a job until I worked with Raquel Escoto in the Woodland Hills, CA office. Raquel stayed in contact with me by keeping her eyes out for a position that I was interested in. We both found a position where the recruiter Roland Mills posted a job from the Thousand Oaks office and Raquel reached out and coordinated an interview which landed me the job. Working with Raquel was a pleasure and will be forever grateful. I must also mention working with Roland Mills in the Thousand Oaks office was a pleasurable experience who also played a role in getting me the job. AppleOne Rocks.......

I was told by Leslie the first time I came in that my desired area to work in and salary was going to be almost impossible to find. Later I was told that NONE of the companies they work with would allow me to leave an hour early once a week to attend college. This shows I am not "dedicated to the job". Also, at times it took up to a week to get a return phone call or email. Their website is a joke. If you apply at another office it WILL NOT send your resume to them, therefore they will not have any idea what your skills are. All a HUGE waste of my time.

My recruiters name was Dani. Oh man I should have listened to all the reviews. You would think an agency located in a prime location in woodland hills would have so many connections with the nearby companies, WRONG! They tried giving me a $12 hr job when I was making $25.. At $12 I cloud have landed that job directly.. They wont help you.. Very lazy people at this office. They wont follow up with you at all or respond to any of your emails. Try a different agency and DEFIINETLY stay FAR FAR away from this one. Deserves a negative star.

While I love the corporate company, Appleone, I must admit that this branch doesnt really have it together too well. However, they have been great at finding me work and placing me at fantastic positions that I love. Give it a try yourself before you make a decision.

I called and before they even met me or asked me what kind of skills I had, they said that they only had employment in one field. They didnt ask me if I could type or any of my skills and then they didnt want to be bothered anymore. Go somewhere else for a job!

Every office has been friendly an makes an initial attempt to seek what you want. However, once your in the door, they do not follow up, respond to emails and if you applying their website or Act-1 theres no follow through.

This is an employment agency, they help with opportunities. They do not give you jobs. If your experience is bad, might it be you?
