I wish they would allow more stars than just 5. Ive been doing Crossfit at One World for the past 4 months. I crossfitted on my own at a globogym for a year prior to that. Such a difference! Aside my lifts and times improving at a much faster rate, its just an overall better environment. There is definitely more motivation to move faster and to not quit when you know your time/results are going on the whiteboard for everyone to see. And even though there is a sense of healthy competition here, the camaraderie is amazing. Everyone makes you feel welcome from the moment you first arive. Aside from the awesome and friendly members, the coaches are great.. all of them have a different and unique quality that they bring to the table In my short time at One World Ive learned muscle ups [though they are few and far between], ring HSPUs, I can do more than 1 pistol at a time, Ive learned the oly lifts, the list goes on and on. And on top of all this, Im the leanest Ive been in my life! --Khalid, age 32 And theyve got USAW certified coach Angela Lim if you want to spend some dedicated time on Olympic lifting.

I am using my wifes google account, since I dont have one. Anyway I moved to CA about 3 years ago and one of my first orders of business was finding the right Jiu Jitsu school. I had almost 2 years experience so I thought I had a pretty good idea of what I was looking for. I stopped at 4-5 different schools and after one class at One World I knew this was the spot. 3 years later the program is growing, welcoming new enthusiastic students while the OGs still train on a regular basis. We have folks from 15-55 and train at whatever level is appropriate for your experience level while always providing challenges along the way. Mike Prudencio - long time Ralph Gracie student is a black belt under Dave Camarillo and teaches 99.9% of all classes 6 days a week. He knows each students game and we all get personal attention. Some of us need it more than others hahaha! You would be hard pressed to find a more dedicated BJJ Professor. Less talk, more training!

I started doing jiu jitsu with the One World crew and Mike Prudencio back in 2008 and I eventually earned my blue belt while training there. Prior to training at One World Jiu Jitsu I had been the judo team captain at San Jose State University and had trained and traveled all over the world for various judo tournaments. What kept me coming back to One World was not only the family atmosphere, it was Mike Prudencios passion for his craft and his world class coaching ability that hooked me. In 2011, my brother and I moved to Portland, OR. to open a judo dojo. When it came down to planning the feel and attitude of the dojo, we noticed that we kept referring back to "the way One World did things". The camaraderie that is present at One World is like none other that I have been a part of. If youre looking for high quality jiu jitsu with a great atmosphere, no ego, technical practices, and friendly people, look no further than One World Jiu Jitsu.

One World is the greatest gym in the area. It offers everything you are looking for that differs from the conventional gym. I used to train at Ballys and would be there for a couple of hours. At the end, I would feel unaccomplished about my future goals in fitness. I came to One World because of the owners. They truly care about their students and you can see that in the way the interact with all of us. I have been here since they opened and have trained in Krav Maga, Crossfit, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The instructors are all great and they take the extra effort to make sure that you get the instruction you deserve. I recommend this for anyone who wants to meet new people and get a great workout. I also love this quote at the door: CHECK YOUR EGO AT THE DOOR.

Ive been training at One World since it first opened and the first impression you get is home. The friendly attitude starts with the owners and goes all the way down to the members. One of the first things you notice is a sign that reads, "Leave your ego at the door." It truly is a place where you can train, chill, and meet new people. I train more in Krav Maga which is a simple and efficient system of self defense and I really recommend this to people of all ages. Ive also done some CrossFit and I truly believe it changes you physically and mentally. BJJ is also a good program and the head instructor is well experienced. There is so much that you can do that you truly get your moneys worth when you come into One World.

Mike Prudencio started a great Jiu Jitsu program at OneWorld. This is the best training you can get in the area. The instruction you recieve from Mike is great. Everything is broken down clearly and completely. His current set of students have grown at a rapid pace and it is showing at the competitions and in the gym. Dont mistake this comment for the perception of an intimidating gym. You can walk right in and feel like part of the team. Everyone is safe and keeps a close eye on eachother. Go check it out!!

I went to Crossfit One World with a group of Crossfitters from work today and was coached by Freddy Camacho. This is not only only popular because its a bay area "staple" Crossfit gym, but it will continue to grow in popularity with the quality of the gym and the staff. I felt very welcome as an outsider, the facility is awesome (the have BJJ/Krav/MMA stuff too), and the coaching is phenomenal. I will definitely be there again!

I have been doing CrossFit at One World since 2008 and have found difficulty finding a comparable place. Between the genuine instructors, programming, and results I have not only watched myself evolve, I have witnessed numerous others do the same. I have noticed that those who come here always leave with a good experience. This is the place to be if you want to see measurable results and actually enjoy the journey getting there.

I have been going One World SDF for over two years and recently have had the opportunity to work my way up to being a trainer. I have been a member at many gyms over the years but here its more like family.
