I previously had a membership to this gym, but due to not driving, and living in North Bend cancelled the membership years ago. A co worker of mine recently joined this gym, and I was interested into looking into this club as I do now drive, but was very disappointed by my experience. I went online to look into their gym pass for a 1 day trial. I was REQUIRED to provide an email address for the pass to be sent to, which I did. I printed the pass off, went with my coworker to the gym, had to wait to be set up and get a sales pitch. After working out I was considering joining the gym again, but they now have a $50 annual membership fee, which is ridiculous to me, I would be paying a monthly fee so WHY do I also need to pay a membership fee? the initiation fee is supposed to cover the wear and tear the machines get, but regardless I find this ridiculous as NO gym I have toured before has this! I then started getting spammed daily with emails from 24 hour and even though I unsubscribed, and was advised it can take up to 10 days, a month later I was still getting spam. One of the emails I received happened to be a survey request, and a lucky winner would get a 1 year membership but EVERYONE who participated would get a free month. I thought GREAT I will really get to try out this gym, so I did the survey, received my email pass for the 30 day membership and about a month later, yesterday 6-20-16, went in to redeem the pass. When I arrived a friendly young lady had me log into a computer with name and DOB and asked me to wait for a manager to help set up this pass. About 5 minutes later she checked back in as I was still waiting, apologized for the wait and said Spencer would be there to help me shortly as the manager was tied up on the phone. Spencer came out to help and said that because I had used the 1 day pass I was not eligible for the 30 day pass. He said he would check with his manager to see if there is anything he can do. When he and the manager came back, the manager, a woman whose name started with an M Maureen? said she cannot honor the monthly pass, and even showed me the computer system and how it will not let them apply this pass because I had redeemed another pass recently. She did offer to give me 1 free month IF I signed up for a membership. I politely declined and explained my frustration. I only knew about the survey because the emailed it to me, and the only reason they have my email is because I got the 1 day pass. WHY SEND ME AN EMAIL IF I AM INELIGIBLE. My BIGGEST problem with this offer is THEY SENT IT TO ME. and NO WHERE on the 30 day pass does it say I am not eligible if I had received another pass. This club only cares about $$$$$ and does not stand by an offer they extended. If the fine print had simply said IF YOU HAVE REDEEMED A PASS WITHIN THE LAST xxx YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE or something like that, I would never have wasted my time to try and redeem this offer. I did read the fine print prior to going to the gym to ensure that I would be eligible, but BUYER BEWARE they do not stand by their offers!

This facility is very new and attractive. It has good instructors. I have tried since May, but finally decided to not go there and find a different facility. What has finally led to my decision is how messy and troublesome the management of this facility have been and how under-trained and clueless the staff are. My recommendation for people who want to try this place out is, be careful with your money. Because once is paid, cash or credit, even its 24 Fitnesss error, you will never get it back. They told me that they have corporate procedures and rules that make it impossible for any staff to return your money even they admit its their error. Only certain manager can do the refund, but the managers never seem to be there and never return phone calls or repeated notes staff told me they have left for her/ him. So you will never get your money back! Here are the incidents that have finally helped me to leave this facility and warn anyone who wants to join: 1. Staff charged me for Kids club when they are aware that the kids club closing time is in 10 minutes. When I found out that I cannot use it and ask for a refund, I never got it back. 2. When I tried monthly Kids Club, I was charged for full month service even when its partial month. They promised to pro-rated and gave back the money that I over paid. But it never happened because the manager who could do it was never there while I visited. 3. Their automatic payment system is dysfunctional. I took the trouble and helped them to sort it out once, it seemed still dysfunctional. As a result of its failure, they tried to charge me fees in addition to the membership fee. I wouldnt leave my kid here at there kid center. I did a trial day and when I came back I asked my son if he liked it and he said "No, I dont ever want to come here again." the young lady at the desk said " I hope its not because I yelled at him. He wouldnt listen to me to get off the blue mat, so I physically moved him off." What???! You pushed my kid AND yelled at him?! Also, when I first came back to pick up my son, the young lady was scolding another kid who was asking "teacher, teacher can I do this?" and She scolded him for asking her something when she was busy helping me. Where do they get these people? They obviously just threw them in the kids center, no background in children. I can even go off about the guy helping me register and showing me around. At the end of the tour he said, So, are you ready to sign up? I told him I had to think about it and see how my kid does in the child watch. and he said " you should really sign up with me today it would really help out my numbers". The nerve! I gave the review 2 stars because the exercise equipment looks awesome. toobad i will hae to go somewhere else. Im super disappointed
