This fabulous place has changed my life.....really, it was through the Staff who showed me such care and concern. In February, I attended a Livestrong program (for people afflicted by cancer, in treatment or after) facilitated by 2 amazing Y instructors, Julie and Camille. They taught our class to use the equipment and encouraged each of us to do our best. My husband and I have been attending the Y and working out regularly since then. I can finally feel myself becoming stronger and I look forward to sweating now. :) Ive been physically unfit most of my adult life and it now feels great to be able to be more active, especially with my grandchildren who are the loves of my life. God bless the YMCA Monroe and Staff and many, many thanks.
