I called and left a message for Citadel to give me a price quote. I got a call back and message from Kevin requesting that I call him back. I called at 2:00 and the receptionist said they are closed for lunch until 2 and they could take a message. I called back at 2:10 and spoke to reception again. I informed the person that I am trying to reach Kevin and I have his extension number. The receptionist said that she is not authorized to connect me to Kevin and I can only leave a message. A note to the business owner - if I am trying to spend ~$15,000 with your company, please do not place barriers between the customer and the sales people. I will not be choosing Citadel for my roofing project, due to the difficulties I had getting in contact with them. When a customer calls you trying to give you business, the response should be "Thank you, let me get you a price quote" not "Im not authorized to connect you to the sales representative, let me take a message." Citadel lost an opportunity to make some money today.
