When the power in our living room and – gasp – television went out a day before a scheduled event at our house, we freaked. Unable to enjoy our house without our living room lights and equipment (sad, I know), we had jerry-rigged a fix with extension cords, but we knew this was no way to live. So, we called Gentec Services. Sean showed up a few minutes early for the delivery window (I was frantically vacuuming), which was very surprising. He was neat, polite, professional, and got right to work. I know my husband stayed close by, both to answer any questions and try to learn, but Sean didn’t seem to mind. He quickly went about diagnosing the problem. He ended up fixing not only the outage we had in the living room, but two dead outlets in the kitchen we had lived around for years. You don’t know what joy is until you’ve turned on a garbage disposal that hasn’t worked for years without a few uncomfortable contortions and an extension cord to an outlet that did work. Sean was amazing. Life after he left was immeasurably better. It was amazing. We were so sorry we hadn’t called sooner. Got electrical issues? Call Gentec Services. They’re very professional, vert affordable, and very reliable. They are our electricians for life!

I have used Gentec twice for electrical work. They are absolutely fantastic! The first time they installed a number of recessed lights; the second time they installed another light and wired, fixed and re-wired a number of areas in my house. They are: * Professional -- they know what they are doing and they do it right * Polite - very mindful of the time- and space-disruption they are causing and respectful of the home they are operating in * Clean - they minimize the mess while they are working and clean up after they are done. * Hard working -- they get the job done even if it takes more time than anticipated, and they go over and above what what agreed upon to get it right. I cannot think of how they could have been any better.

I hardly have words to express how responsive, professional, and pleasant Al was when he arrived within 2 hours in response to my electrical emergency. Not only did he find the problem within a couple minutes of his arrival, but he took the time to explain it to me as well as providing advice to a handyman who was doing some simple receptacle replacements. I wish that my service experiences with other home repair companies were as satisfying as this was with GENTEC. Gentec Services are the best! Every single person I have talked with that is associated with this company has been great. Its so rare to get pleasant and efficent customer service these days. Five stars on this alone! Ive been very happy with the electrical work they have performed for me. The guys placing the recessed lighting in my kitchen gave consideration to what work space would get the best light to how the overall placement would look on my ceiling space. I find them to be reasonably priced as well. If you need an electrician....look no further.

We had several items that needed to be done. Al was here on May 5. He looked over the things that had to be done and gave us an estimated cost. He fixed one of the smaller items at that time. Very friendly, chatted with us for a few minutes. John was here today. Also, a very nice person. He fixed our outdoor lights, replaced 2 overhead lights on our porch, changed a light bulb in a closet, and replaced 2 light bulbs in one of our bathrooms. I had some outside light fixtures that had not worked in a while, and they provided me with the least expensive way to troubleshoot and replace.
