Chris led me to believe that he knew how to fix photovoltaic systems. He might be fine on some items, however, he charged me for an inspection, told me we only needed an inverter, and promised to get back to me with a proposal. Then he wrote back and told me that his evaluation was wrong, our panels may be defective. They need to be tested. He would need to come back out AT MY EXPENSE and re-evaluate. He would possibly have to replace them all... Also, another thing that happened: When he came out, he showed me that he was getting no electricity from one of the circuits, but I pointed out that he had his testing device set incorrectly. From my little bit of understanding, he appears to be either incompetent or dishonest or both. In talking to him later, he kept referring to "his engineer". I couldnt help thinking that if he did not understand these systems, he should have brought his engineer with him to get him up to speed. There might be a perfectly good explanation for what happened, so there is a possibility that this review is unfair. Your experience may vary.

Chris did a great job, quickly found the issue in the electric system, didnt stop until the root cause was clear and fixed everything. As bonus he gave me tips on how to best place the smog detectors and to get a CO sensor.
