I could not be more pleased with my experiences with Main Stream. I first hired Main Stream to do a 4 prong dryer outlet and their prices were very good- I had been warned by some other electrician friends about what the job should cost, a range. Main Streams price was very fair. Best of all, they are quick to schedule jobs. Both of my jobs were scheduled within a few days or sooner of my inquiry and quote. Tim and Slavik were so great on this job as well as their other team member. When I had follow up questions about the new outlet they responded immediately and were very kind. (thank you Katie and Tim!). I hired Main Stream a second time to install a floor outlet, an outdoor light and a dining chandelier. This time I had the pleasure of working with Rick and Slavik. The floor outlet looks perfect and they were able to cut through my new laminate floor without doing any damage at all not one sliver of the floor was impacted and I know this was because Rick and Slavik were very meticulous. I had floor outlets installed in my home in Nevada and they did not look this good. Rick went above and beyond my expectations of not only how perfect the outlet is, but his friendliness, professionalism, his manners, kindness and clean up. He and Slavik even helped me move furniture around. The dining and outdoor lights were also perfectly done and again I felt they went above and beyond. Slavik was so kind, professional, polite and beyond helpful with little things that were not required. He helped me move furniture, he cleaned up beyond by expectations and even helped me dispose of my old fan and floodlight and haul them out to my garage. I intend to do some more electrical work at my home and I would never look elsewhere. I would hire this company every time. This entire team is professional and friendly, they do great electrical work and they have very fair prices. Thanks guys!

So we just sold our house and Im trying to fix the issues on the list. One of which is dealing with electrical issues / 3-way switch in our stairway to be precise. I tried to work on this a few years ago but chalked it up to being "not worth my time" and dealt with not having the ease of turning it on upstairs or downstairs. The buyers think differently so I decided Id give it another go to make the closing of escrow a bit easier. I worked on this for three hours today, called my dad in Wisconsin and gave it an attempt over the phone to no avail. My "give a crap" went out the door and I decided to call Main Stream Electric. WOW!! Shawn Halstead had it diagnosed and fixed in less than 10 minutes. It was a dead end 3-way with no power to the downstairs switch. He knew exactly what it was and how to circulate the power to make it work. My three hours was his 5 minutes. Amazing, courteous, FAST and extremely affordable. If you need good work, get these guys! Shawn Halstead.....THANKS!! You made my day! If I knew it was going to be that fast for you and this difficult for a guy who deems himself pretty handy, I would have called Main Stream Electric way sooner!

If I could give more stars I would! I was at a loss when I contacted numerous electricians with either no call back, no email back or even some who came to my home and looked at my job and said they would call back and never did. I looked up reviews online and found very positive reviews for Main Stream Electric. I emailed them and the owner emailed me on a SUNDAY that his office would contact me first thing on Monday morning. They did! Right when he said they would. Don Pinney came out to quote my project and gave me the numbers right on the spot. We hired them and Don installed my lights in my home, hung a chandelier and changed out ceiling fans. So nice. So professional. Hard working. Overall, just a great experience and a great electrician. After my job was complete I called them about my moms home. I requested Don again and he replaced a sub panel on my home and now everything is running perfect! Im a Real Estate agent and have now used them for inspections. I HIGHLY recommend Main Stream Electric and Don Pinney to do your job! You wont be disappointed!

Creating a large event at a park with no utilities can be an event planners worst nightmare. Power is essential to entertainment, attractions and vendors. If you have electrical issues - everything can be difficult. But, thanks to Main Stream Electric - power and electrical issues were not a concern for any of the 18,000 people who attended Orangevale Pow Wow Days. Shane and Tim made sure everything concerning power was efficient and safe. They work hard to save the event time and money. Even after all was completed Tim stayed near by to make sure everything ran the way it should, leaving me to do what I need to do.. enjoy the event. Thank you, Main Stream Electric. We had Main Stream out to give us a bid to install several ceiling fans. They had been recommended by a friend of ours. The bid was reasonable and the two guys who came to install were great! Overall being very professional, accommodating and they even cleaned up after the job was finished. It was as if they hadnt even been there! I definitely recommend them as well and will have them out again for more work!

I had 2 track light fixtures installed, which required a bit more work because of the age of the old fixtures. I was extremely happy with the work Rick and Gabriel did. They were on time, detail oriented, and very efficient with completing the project on time. Even with the minor hick-ups we encountered, including replacing a dimmer switch that was faulty, everything was done with care and professionalism.
