I have a free gym membership at 24hr fitness in S.F. FIDI that my company pays for. I also, had a one year membership at In-Shape Gym when it first opened in Vallejo. For the last two years, I have been trying to get back in the grind but I just couldnt. I was tired from my 3 hour daily commute to the city. I was over the meat market gym that offered no help and only gassed me up with fake perks. All of this changed recently when something drastic happened in my life. I joined the quaint small, organic gym in Vallejo called Olympic Health Club. I began training recently and I have never felt better and more confident. I started slow with training session weekly. I feel my incentive is that I WONT be oogled or bothered here. I feel like I have privacy. I am focused on myself and my time there. Nothing matters more to me than feeling good about going to the gym, and that is what I feel here everyday.

I heart this gym. I was a member a few years ago and recently re-joined. My friends were telling me about In-Shape and Planet Fitness. I would rather die than join any of those hyped up gyms that are way over-crowded and where you are charged extra for personal training tips/sessions. Useful knowledge and sessions that work for the long haul at Olympic Gym are free, because the owner, Dennis, and his son genuinely care for the health and fitness of their patrons and seriously know what they are talking about. If you are looking to get fit and for a fuss-free and non-judgmental gym with great equipment this place is for you. If you are looking for a gym as a way to meet a potential love match or to show off your "guns"...please go somewhere else ;)

The gyms been open for 28 years. Prices are very reasonable, as low as $25 a month with no sign-up few. The owner Dennis and his son Matt are always there to help and know what they are talking about. Large facility with a wide assortment of free weights, machines and cardio equipment. Ive meet a lot of good people who are there to get healthy. Good place, good people, good prices. What else could you ask for?

Staying in vallejo for work for a week, decided to join this club. From the look of it, everybody is so friendly. I dont feel like being judged by others in this gym, unlike the other gym, seems like a ppl friendly place. Would recommend

Great gym. Lots of free weights! Family owned! They were helpful and understanding of my situation. Great gym for working out and not selling you things you dont need. Same membership price since its opening.
