I moved to the local area in October of last year and I had to find a new salon to get my hair done, waxing massages etc. I went to Headlines off of the reviews on Yelp and was very happy with the services until I decided to get my hair colored at the salon. To preface, Headlines has a points system to reward frequent customers that can be converted to discounts for services however there are hitches with the points and how you can redeem them that were never explained to me or even noted on there website....so please see the email I wrote to the owner of the salon regarding my issue..... Dear Ms. Miller & Ms. Goldby, I am writing you today to shed some light on an unhappy experience I had at your salon on Wednesday February 10 for scheduled a hair coloring appointment with Tiffany. I recently moved to the area and have very quickly become a frequent customer as well as bringing my husband in as a client. I was upset when I was ready to pay and was told that I could not use all of the rewards points I have accumulated over my visits. I was explained that in this case my stylist did not except the rewards points that were not gained through her services. Since I have tried many services at your salon I was surprised to hear this because I was never told of this exemption when booking my appointment or either when I previously visited the salon and accumulated the points. I went home and double checked your website and did not find this exemption stated anywhere on your site. I think it is only fair to advise your customers of this clause prior to booking their appointments and not at the moment of payment. I visited your salon on Saturday of last week and was given an estimate of the price by my stylist. I took the estimate as well as my rewards points into account when I booked my appointment. I am very sad to say that I left your salon very disappointed and will take this experience into consideration prior to booking and referring anyone for any future appointments. I would appreciate it if possible to discuss this issue further with you. As for the actual color service I was unhappy with the outcome. The color is nice but not what I wanted at all. My hair was medium brown with highlights and dark roots I wanted an all over Choc. Brown color. The stylist however prepped my hair with a color product that was a red base and used a color that was too dark. Now I have dark brown hair with a red tinge. So now my only option is to drive back to my home town (2 hours away) and get my hair recolored. As for the email I sent after setting a time to speak to the owner over the phone and she stood me up I am still waiting to hear back...........

The first time I went to Headlines, I didnt have any expectations - good, bad, or otherwise. After I had a massage with Clay, I left there in complete noodle-mode (for those of you who remember the cartoon Gumby, thats what I felt like). I was dismayed that I hadnt heard of Headlines before! I have been to a lot of spas -- and I havent had a better massage EVER. After trying some of their other services, Ive been equally as pleased! I particularly love the shellac polish (their manicures and pedicures are wonderful!), I know my mom loves the facials, and the monthly Ladies Night is always a special treat. Everyone who works at Headlines is wonderful. Not only is the team of professionals fantastic at what they do, the front desk gals are kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and treat you like a prized client whether its your first or hundredth time there. The ambiance is cozy, relaxing, and begs you to come back. To sum it up: I havent been tempted to try another local spa since my first experience at Headlines, and I am certain that Ill remain a life-long client even if I move out of the area!

Kymmwilliams is out of control and her post is vicious she sounds like someone who gets enjoyment out of hurting others. If Kymm had any respect for herself she wouldnt have lashed out publicly she would have discussed it privately with the people involved. It sounds more to me like Kymm needs anger management classes. And I have no idea who she is and dont care to. I have never had my hair done at Headlines but her being in busness for 25 years tells me she has more going for her then Kymm she has been a successful business woman for 25 years. I think I will try Headlines because of her successful business & my need to be my own judge of whats right for me. I will give Headlines a good rating until proven otherwise. I am not a sheep and everyone deserves a chance & I am certainly not going to let someone with a nasty mouth decide for me.

I have been a client at HEADLINES SALON & SPA for more than 7 years and have expeienced just about every service offered from hair coloring & styling to waxing, facials, massage and pecidures. Seven years ago my wedding party gathered at Headlines before the wedding and we were all completely pampered, I have been hooked ever since! The salon is absolutly beautiful and calming. I always feel like the person taking care of me is up to date on the latest services and treatments. All of the staff is so friendly and helpful. One of my mose recent visits to Headlines was a pedicure day with my daughter and a friend in their newly remodled pedicure room, we had a blast! Also, the Ladies night that is once a month is so much fun and reasonably priced, I always look forward to those!!! I am definitely a life-long client!

I was in some pain, had a pinched nerve from working out yesterday, and needed a massage. I called on the off chance that they might have something open. Not only were they very friendly on the phone (and thank goodness had a spot!) but worked around the times that I needed. When I arrived, it was the cutest place! Very clean and lush...offered a beverage, changed into a robe, and got right to the appt. Clayton was amazing! He got right to work on my problem area and then made sure I still got a well-rounded massage. He was very thoughtful of my tender places, but worked out the kinks. When it was over, I was jello! AND- the price was great! I highly recommend!!!

Ive been going to Headlines Salon and Spa since before they added the spa. It has everything you could ask for, a top of the line salon with excellent staff who are knowledgeable about the products they use and sell and the services they offer. It also has a very serene spa with a seperate waiting room from the salon. It is a truely tranquil setting. I appreciate how the owners and staff are constantly educating themselves on new services and products. They are always on the cutting edge. I definitely recommend this salon and spa, it is worth the wait for an appointment.

I also been going to Headlines Salon and Spa for years and I cant say enough about the service! I have never heard yelling from the owners or anyone else for that matter and also agree with Liz that kymmwilliams must have been at a different location. My daughter and I enjoy the friendly staff and decor The spa area is really a relaxing and tranquil setting. Headlines is a first class Salon and Spa. I have never had to wait long for a appointment but if you do, its well worth the wait.
