My stylist Karessa Lauvergeon has been cutting my hair for about a year since I made the move to Colorado. I had had a bad coloring about 2 years ago in a different salon, and in trying to fix it fried my hair, so I have been growing my hair out for the last two years with ZERO coloring and ugly roots just to have the opportunity to go back to the simple highlights Ive been wearing to compliment my natural color for the 20 years previous to the last bad hair drama. I trust Karessa, who had just moved to Cocoa Marie Salon, to do the highlights on my completely fresh, chemical free new hair growth. It was only supposed to be a partial but Karessa put a TON of foils in my hair AND used bleach, which isnt even necessary to highlight my natural sandy hair. From the time she put the first highlights in to the time she started taking them out, the foils had sat in my head for AN HOUR AND A HALF. She even decided to color her own roots while I was processing, or should I say OVER-processing. The highlights were SO thin and numerous, there was none of my natural color left for dimension on top and I looked BLEACH BARBIE all over. The condition of my hair is terrible to the point where the front blonde pieces have been breaking off at the top. Both Karessa and the owner of the salon are denying that any mistakes were made and refusing to even refund me so I can go somewhere else to try to have at least the color of the little hair I have left fixed. Overall, the salon is run very poorly, and the owner Courtney takes NO responsibility for the actions of her stylists, and there are no receptionists or regular hours to make appointments. She literally told me I was "Karessas client" so it was up to her to fix it and it was at Karessas discretion to do so. After some begging, the owner offered to do a lowlight on my hair to break up the blonde, but only if I bought $35 worth of products from the salon. I bought the products and the lowlight was too much, so now my hair is even darker than my natural color when I came in. I wanted my hair brighter for summer with nice highlights and now its about four different colors with RED streaks? I told the owner I didnt particularly like what she had done and she goes "oh well thats as good as its going to get." Karessa is not even responding to my phone calls, and the owner made up an excuse for her saying her phone is "not working right." Sorry, but people dont just let their phones go broken for over a week these days, especially if its how they make their appointments for their business. I will NEVER go back to this salon, as it is run in a completely unprofessional manner and the owner finds her employees on craigslist - at least thats where she found Karessa.

The only stylist I, myself, have ever been to is Kaylee; but the other girls always seem to be keeping busy with clients, which is a testament to their skill. Speaking of skill, Kaylees is unparalleled! She works so hard and is accommodating to her clients fluctuating schedules. She greets me with a smile and is friendly and easy to talk to. I always leave an appointment with Kaylee feeling 100% satisfied with the results of my haircut/color/highlights, whatever magic she worked that day! She speaks highly of her salon and its owner, which makes me feel that much more comfortable and sure that I am going to the right place for this service.

Called in this morning to get a same day appointment and was immediately worked in. Had a color correction that I needed to be perfect last minute. I arrived 15 minutes early and was greeted by Donna who immediately took me back and got to work. She matched my hair to my extensions perfectly. She was fast, efficient, and insanely thorough. She noticed I was tired and let me have my peace while she worked. She is also the best with shampooing and conditioning hair. No water splashes in my face or ears, temp was perfect, and her massage was so relaxing. I definitely will be back!

Cassi did a amazing job on my hair. I love my hair so much. I got peek a boo purple n teal! I was worried at first but Cassi so good that the worry went away! Great place to go! Price is good.
