We put our daughter in dance at the young age of 2 1/2. She immediately took to all the teachers who are not only knowledgeable about their craft, but show enthusiasm toward teaching children. It has now been over 4 years and I know that we would not go to any other studio. After 3 years, my daughter was asked to be part of the competitive team and loved every minute. It was during this team year that I found myself ‘reviewing’ other studios. Although some of them had wonderful dancers – I could see that those students and teachers at Elite really function as a family – something that is not always experienced at other studios. My daughter never felt as if she didn’t know what was going on or left out – the ‘big’ girls took her under their wing and helped make the experience exciting and fun. The moms’ took me under their wing and helped me through all the events. I love the mom’s that I’ve made friends with throughout the years. I don’t have one bad thing to say about Elite. One thing about Elite – you are family, whether you are there 20 hours a week or one….nothing is a must do, Elite is there to improve the dancers ability and to show them great sportsmanship while maintaining close relationships. As far as for the comment on non-transparency for fees – I personally was told about everything up front…but I also ask TONS of questions if I don’t understand.

We moved to CO in the summer of 2011 when my daughter decided to transition from gymnastics to dance. Not knowing the area well, we were with a studio that was not meeting my daughters needs before we landed at Elite Dance Academy and found our dance family. Im so happy we made the switch! During our first year there, my daughter participated in technique classes as well as Performance Team (which is a great platform to have your dancer perform without the additional commitment of Company). Within that first year, she experienced so much growth in her dance vocabulary, technique and talent. It was obvious she had been bitten by the "dance bug" and wanted more. Presently, she just completed her first year on Company and her dancing has exponentially grown and improved. Whether you are a recreational dancer or want to pursue a career in dance, Elite can help you achieve your dance goals. They offer a huge variety of classes, programs, camps, intensives, and performances (two ballets in addition to recital!!). Their instructors and directors are beyond talented and dedicated to their craft. It is very apparent that theyre truly eager to instill a passion of dance in their students. I have found Elites tuition cost very competitive and their communication with parents to be stellar. If youre considering a dance studio, your list should have one studio on it - Elite.

At first this dance academy seemed very transparent, but as recital time approached, Elite started to ask for more money. Not only was I paying $70/month for tuition, but I had to pay $70 for a recital costume, and $10 PER TICKET for the actual recital. My husband couldnt even get in for free, as well as my son - his ticket cost $5! To make matters worse, my daughters costume arrived just 10 days before her recital and turned out to be too small. The response I received from the staff was "all sales are final" and I was instructed to do the leg work and call other parents to see if they were having similar problems and try to convince them to trade. Oh yea, did I mention picture costs. The smallest package was $45 for 1 group photo and 2 5x7s. So, all in all, I shelled out $700 for tuition, $45 for pictures, $70 for a recital costume which DID NOT FIT, and $55 for tickets to her recital. Oh yea, did I mention her recital was a whopping 2 minutes long! All this for a grand total of $870. My recommendation, go to another dance studio that have costs up front and are willing to go the extra mile to help you in a tight squeeze.

When I signed my daughters up for dance at Elite, I never would have guessed it would become their second home and extended family. Elite Dance Academy provides top quality instruction in a positive atmosphere. The staff is qualified, attentive and caring, the students and families a kind, helpful community. Elite not only wants students to become great dancers, but also great humans. With an expectation of excellence regarding behavior, attitudes, responsibility and community mindedness, Elite is much more than just dance. We are so happy to be a part of this studio!

We have been dancing here for the past two years. After moving from California, we struggled to find a studio that fit just right. As soon as we came to Elite we knew we were in the right place. My daughter loves all of her teachers, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the studio has become our second family. I highly recommend Elite to any family that doesnt just want to be one of the numbers, and who is looking for a place that values their dancer as a whole person. Music and dress are all age appropriate and communication is thorough and efficient.

My 6yo daughter has fun learning here. However the waiting area also doubles as the "viewing" area because parents arent allowed in class and there are no windows in the studio. The viewing consists of one fixed video camera which is connected wirelessly to a video monitor in the lobby. Unfortunately the video suffers from bad camera placement and the monitor has unwatchable video because of interference in the wireless connection. After speaking to the owner with no results Ive come to the conclusion that Elite charges elite prices for mediocre results.

My daughter has danced at Elite for 5 years. Elite is great, she has worked her way up from taking recreational classes to being on a competitive team. She absolutely loves her teachers and the staff is amazing. Seeing how much she grows as a dancer and person every year thanks to Elite is so much fun. Elite has options for everyone from the girls who want to take a class or two all the way up to full competitive teams.

My daughter danced at a few studios before finding Elite. We immediately noticed the difference; these instructors are thoroughly educated in dance arts and she learned true technique, not just an hour of "play time". Since then, we have remained at the studio for 5 years and my daughter has grown so much as a dancer. I absolutely love Elite and have referred several of our friends that are just as happy.

This place has gone downhill from the staff and how the place is ran. Do yourself a favor and dont waste your money at this dance studio becasue there are much better quailty places that seem that they care about the student and parents. The price keeps going up and the quailty keeps going down.

As a poms coach, I love this studio! My kids have grown a ton technically and they are pushed to work hard and be positive. My team has nothing but great things to say about Elite and what they have learned from this studio. I would recommend this studio to anyone!

This place sucks. People are very rude especially the director Lisa Pebatoe. Also, very pricy. Do not go to this studio.
