This is the best studio to learn dance. Everyone is so positive, friendly and supportive. I have been dancing here for about 19 months and they have taken someone who was a prefect example of "I cant dance" to someone who actually can dance and dance well. They have their methods to teaching that have been proven over 100 years, the instructors are very personable, kind, patient and above all professional. It is a very beautiful studio with nice extra lesson and practice rooms. Dancing is something you can start and keep up with the rest of your life. What I like best is the positive attitudes, there is a overall sense of camaraderie among the instructors and students. It isnt dirt cheap but if one takes just a lesson every two weeks or so, then participates in all the group events and parties, it becomes very affordable per event. I have never been pressured to take more lessons than I wanted too, even in the very beginning. They we very patient with a stumbling old gal :-). I would recommend it to anyone no matter what type of dancing they want to learn.

Dancing at Arthur Murray is the worlds best stress reliever. Starting out I wasnt a natural dancer, so it took all of my focus to get my feet in the right place. At the end of the lesson, I was starting to get it and the days troubles had simply melted away. After some time the feet got easier and I was hooked. Ive been taking lessons for nearly 7 years now. Long term it is an investment, but a great investment in my health and happiness. And for those who already know they love to dance- the teachers top notch. Large floor with plenty of mirrors. There is a full range of students- from social dancers to serious amateur competitors.

My wife and I signed up for the introductory package so we could feel more comfortable dancing at a nephews wedding. Two-and-a-half years later we are still enjoying much joy and satisfaction with Arthur Murray Denvers classes. Their instructors teach the reasoning behind each dance and not just steps to place your feet. You learn to dance properly and know how to lead and follow properly. Their individual and group classes help you to learn many different types of ballroom dances. It is very addictive and quite fun.

I started taking lessons at this studio just under two months ago, and I loved it immediately. The teachers are incredibly nice and encouraging. They go above and beyond the call of duty in the enthusiasm they show and desire to teach you. They are incredibly knowledgeable and know everything there is to know about dancing. They are so patient, no matter how long it takes you to finally get something down. Without a doubt, they are the nicest teachers I have ever worked with, and I am so glad that I found this place.

Not good. Everyone is very pleasant and, of course, they are all excellent dancers. The problem is that it is their way or the highway. You can NOT go in there to learn a particular dance, e.g., the two-step. That is NOT ALLOWED. You must sign an expensive contract to learn many dances and, once in awhile, there will be a two-step lesson. They will maneuver you and talk you into it so stay away. After $1500 I walked away with three lessons still on the books...still cant do the darn dance.

Ive been dancing at Arthur Murray Denver for over 2 years and I recommend this studio highly! The instructors are wonderful -- patient, knowledgeable, and fun! (Most of all, fun!!) I began hoping to learn a few basic steps to hold my own at weddings and parties -- instead Ive discovered a new hobby and learned much more than I thought possible. This is a terrific dance studio.
