I am new to the Colorado Springs Area. I booked an appointment w/ Felix for a Sunday morning he was a no show. I followed up w/ him to find out what went wrong he apologized and offered to reschedule for half the price for a wash and style. So I took the offer and rescheduled.... why did I do that?! When I went back to have my hair done I ended up stopping him and leaving w/ my hair undone. He used flatirons that kept snagging my hair so I brought it to his attention and he brought out another pair of flat irons that looked very dirty. I told him that I was going to pay for the wash but were done here. Although he did apologize, he had the nerve to ask for $25 which was not half off by the way! After my experience w/ this salon I would not recommend anyone book w/ Felix.

Well first off im new to the area and was afraid to go get my hair cut! I saw a very nice gentleman by the name of Felix! I sent him a picture of the look i was going for and he assured me that he could accomplish the style i sent! My appt was at 630pm and i left at 920pm with a half finish head that wasnt nothing like the picture i sent! After i saw that he could not complete the look yet he had chopped off not cut but chopped off all my hair he still asked for the 70+ dollars! I had to walk him thru everything and im not a hair styles! The tracks was not place right and my cut was awful! I would not return to this salon if the styles have to be coached by the client! Nothing went right for me at this salon!

What a wonderful shop! I went in to get help with my transition to natural hair. I was so sick of using chemicals that would ultimately leave me with a mess. I was scheduled with the handsome Mr. Felix for my appointment. He listened to me ramble on about all of my hair issues lol and was able to give me a lot of good information. I discussed my goals with him and he got me started on my journey. Needless to say, ive already got my next 3 month of appointments set. I walked out looking and feeling beautiful again.

If you want a barber theres plenty of other places thatll cut your hair and send you off with a jacked up do. Plenty of places thatll force you into fake conversations about how your day was or what the weather is like or what youre doing this weekend. Go to great clips or something if thats what your are looking for. Now if you want a hair artist. Someone that cares about his craft and what your hair looks like, Felix is your guy. This guy was born to do hair and Im glad I found him.

It was not the best but I did tip. My perm did not take. I had to wash my hair the next day due to not being able to take the stench from the flat iron. It took 4 washes to get odor out.I was not able to relax due to stylist being very rough. I went here to support my black community. My suggestions is to properly train stylist. Get a mastered stylist to assist him thoroughly. He is beginning but needs improvement.

Unfortunately, my experience was so poor, Im only going to say, "Buyer Beware!!" The staff was highly unprofessional. So sad. Im in complete agreement with the other comment on needing to coach the stylist on skills I know, but he should have some mastery of. Again, and I stress, "Buyer Beware!!"
