I worked at Kelly Services in 2010 and made the mistake of a no call walk off. So I came back in 2016 hoping for forgiveness. I told the lady I had worked with Kelly Services before for the Atmel plant in 2010. She then told me to fill out another application because my old information was outdated. I took 2 hours to fill out an application then I emailed my resume and left. When I called back for my phone interview the same woman told me that I never said I was employed there before and it "disturbed her" that I didnt tell her that I worked there before. I was shocked and confused as to whether to argue the point or not. I tried as nice as I could to remind her of our conversation but she very adamantly insisted that I never told her 4 more times. Now you would think that 4 attempts to jar a persons memory would be enough, but not with this individual. A person can easily forget getting a yes or no to a yes or no question but it would be harder to forget a whole interactive conversation about previous employment and how a new application needs to be filled out to update old information. I think what happened is that she wasnt listening when I talking to her and she just processed me through without paying attention to what she was doing. She seemed to automatically disregard me as trash when I showed up to use their computer for the application, from our first word I could tell she was not interested in her job enough to pay any attention to me or what I was saying. She either purposefully did not listen or forgot to do something on her end, one way or another she covered her mistake by accusing me of not telling her. She did this four times in a row. She was snarky and condescending with every conversation I had with her. The center of the universe seemed to be somewhere near her person and she didnt care if the low-lifes around her were getting jobs or not, as long as she had hers. I wonder how many other people she has passed her mistakes off to? I wonder how many people dont have a chance with this company because this unavoidable one stop gatekeeper standing in the way of a fair shot. The company didnt even offer anyone else to deal with, Miss Compassion was it. Im sure this company as a whole is great at its business, but with this roadblock in the bottleneck its nothing more than a waste of 2 hours. The Colorado Springs office needs someone who cares about the people they are trying to help as opposed to whatever Ms. Generosity was thinking about. So if you meet Krista Abeita at the front desk dont bother shes the center of the universe.
