I have three kids currently enrolled in KinderCare in Colorado Springs, CO. I have to first off say that all three kids love it there and are very happy. Compared to their last daycare my youngest does not cry when he goes to class. He runs and hugs his teacher in the morning when previously he would not stop crying and I hated leaving him at our last place. They have also helped tremendously with potty training which has been awesome. Also the biggest thing I wanted to notate and bring to attention is that KinderCare has opened their arms to my Type 1 Diabetic daughter. For those who do not know or understand Diabetes it is a lot to deal with on a daily basis. At our previous daycare the director told me to my face that my daughter was a drain on her budget because of having to train staff for her and having someone always free to help in an emergency situation. KinderCare has completely opened their arms with love. They touch base with me throughout the day to give me updates, ask advice, let me know whats going on. At times when my daughter has had to go to the hospital they have reached out and asked how she is doing. That goes above and beyond their responsibilities and lets me know they genuinly care about my children and the other children in attendance. I am very thankful to be a part of this center! Thank you for all you do!!

I can only think of two staff members that I would care to give kudos... they do a great job and are personable and seem to actually care about the kids and the parents. The rest of the staff is absolutely maddening from a parents point of view. I took my daughter there last year and pulled her out for the summer. I reenrolled her for the school year, and on the first day there, got to hear about what a mess the place was and how much everyone hated working there. I was shocked. Why would I want to leave my child somewhere where the staff complained in front of parents? I have my child on a waitlist for another daycare in the area. The constand turnover, the crappy/complaining staff who cant ever answer a question, and that they mess up billing is just too much. My daughter will miss her friends, but Ive had enough. I plan on calling the centers directers boss and higher if need be. Several people absolutely need to lose their jobs.

This center is more like a daycare than a learning center. They have not had a director for a VERY LONG time, and other reviews show they have had 4 directors in the past year. This is not a learning environment, but merely a daycare with shuffling of kids to meet ratios-children dont have one stable classroom or teacher for stability. Methods of discipline are questionable-one child was disciplined by the teacher telling the class, "We dont like XXXX anymore, and were not going to play with them anymore are we?" If you are comfortable with leaving your child with people who do not have degrees in childhood education, and are immature in their mentoring/teaching experience, you may be ok with this one.

We took our daughter here when she was 2. She had a great time each day. She enjoyed the daily activities and the food that was served. We would have continued to have her attend daycare here but we were able to get a slot at the CDC on the Air Force Academy.
