When I think about working here I become perturbed by the occurrences I experienced at the time I was employed. To begin on the wrong foot I was notified that even if they did value employees and their children that they do not offer any discount for their childcare for their employees. This I felt just shows big business thinking and how its all work and no appreciation. The second thing that enrages me is how while working here I was harassed by one of the infant teachers that encouraged me to feel completely unwelcome and harassed by her condescending remarks and "no room for you or your ideas for MY classroom approach she had." I ended up quitting shortly after being hired and had to threaten legal recourse for the director and office to realize I had legal rights to be paid. Kinda sad how in this century companies feel they get to hire hostile employees that do not work well with others and then feel entitled to not pay a person what they have worked. That is all. If you have children and value yourself work somewhere that in turn values your hard work.

CHILD ABUSE! Today 6/13/14 My friend and I were walking by and we saw a staff member out on the playground loudly telling a child to sit down. The little girl did not want to follow instructions so the staff member decided to start yanking the child with force by her arm to force her to sit down. After 5 or 6 hard yanks the little girl started to cry but still did not sit down. This is when the lady decided to shove her down by pushing her head down forcing her body to sit down. My friend freaked out as we witnessed the whole thing and called her out on what she was doing. We went inside and reported the incident to the manager/director. We left very unsatisfied from their response and we felt like not much was going to be done. Therefore we called the police to the facility and they came out and filed an official report. This is so sad that trained professionals can do something like this to and indefense 3 year old.

We have had a phenomenal experience with Family Flex. Our daughter has been attending for ~6 months beginning in the infant program, and we could not be happier. While there is a well thought out curriculum/learning plan, the infant program in particular is very customized to the needs of each child. The teachers take great care in getting to know the children, helping them to grow and learn at their own pace and in a very safe environment. They are loving, thoughtful and calm. Its a great teacher-child ratio, with excellent resources in the facility. When its time for the child to "graduate" to the next room (typically when crawling), the transition is done in a thoughtful and measured way that is very comforting for us as parents. We have felt confident each day that our daughter is well-cared for, safe and loved at Family Flex, and we would highly recommend the program.

Family Flex is a great day care center, especially for infant care. We started our baby as soon as he was old enough and the caliber of the faculty cannot be beat. We feel completely comfortable with the staff and the class size. They are all experienced and credentialed for early childhood development. I will admit that the administrative staff can seem disorganized at times, but the focus is clearly on the kids so we can live with a lost form or a few more hours for a return call. We have had nothing but postive experiences with the staff and would recommend this to anyone looking for day care. They understand children and development needs and offer a real curriculum for children v just watching kids for a period of time. We are so glad we found a place like this for our boy while we fulfill our work obligations.

I dont know if I would recommend Family Flex to a friend. The positives are that you can schedule only one day a week, if that is all you need. But my son doesnt seem to like it there. We have picked him up with layers of dried snot on his face, so I dont know how much they actually take care of the toddler age group. They also charge you on days that they are closed, like any holidays that you cant drop him off, you will also be charged even though you didnt use their services. The last part is that I just dropped him off and none of the teachers there even acknowledged him. I stood there for about five minutes looking at the teachers and no one even said hi. So use them if you have to. I would recommend A Bien Tot for stays less then 6 hours.

I couldnt disagree more with the negative reviews here. Family Flex is a fantastic organization. Our son has been enrolled there since he was 12 weeks old. They were recommended to us by an instructor and doula at our pre-natal classes. The hours, food program, and curriculum are all great benefits. But the biggest benefit is that the teachers here are definitely top tier. Theyre people who have obviously dedicated their careers to child care, development, and education. These are people who love kids, and are actually qualified to care for and teach them. You wont find a better crew of teachers. We wholeheartedly recommend this facility.

This is the best place in Denver to send your children. I have had two kids for the past 6 years under the care of Family Flex and could not imagine life any other way. This is a learning center and not just a day care- while your children will be cared for by the best in the business they will also learn daily. The teachers are kind, loving and full of passion about teaching your child. It is the perfect place for infants all the way to preschool. You will not regret sending your child here.

Today 6/13/14 as my friend and I were walking back to her apartment we passed by "Family Flex" and I witnessed a staff member mistreat a little girl who appeared to be not older than 3 years old. She was reprimanding the little girl to sit down, the little girl did not want to sit down, this is when that yanking started happening and ended by pushing the girl by her head forcing her to sit down. We filed an official police report and it is available to the public.

Detail oriented teachers and excited kids. It is the best toddler classroom in the city. Our daughter doesnt want to leave at the end of the day. We could not be happier with Family Flex. The parent conferences show the connection the teachers have with the kids as well as give us a great idea of what our kid is like when not with us. If you can get in, do it.

I saw that Family Flex was just listed as one of the top 5 early childcare centers in Denver by Colorado Parent Magazine. Our two boys have been attending for years and we couldn’t agree more. It’s a fantastic program! Congrats to the all the great staff on the much deserved recognition.
