I had the great pleasure of experiencing PurHair for the first time today. After a recommendation from a friend, I made an appointment with Meli for a new client treatment and cut. Meli was AWESOME! I typically go to wherever is quick and cheap, as I normally get my hair cut when the mood strikes. I have been bored with my cut and my hair definitely needed some TLC. I am totally convinced that I have been doing it all wrong. PurHair is a small, quaint, adorable salon, where I felt very comfortable. My visit included a treatment, cut, and style, but I received so much more than that. For one, I had a good time. How often can one say that when getting a haircut?! Meli was incredibly friendly. The conversation was comfortable but not overbearing. She was also extremely informative and educational without being pushy. She truly cares about her clients, the experience they receive, and their hair. She showed me different ideas and tricks for things I can do at home to help take care of my hair. As she said, I am her walking advertisement, and why wouldnt she want my hair to look good and be healthy aside from just the day I see her? I love this! I truly cannot say enough good things about Meli, her salon, the service I received, and my new haircut. I would recommend to anyone, so if you havent been here yet, what are you waiting for?!?!?! :)

About 2 months ago I had the bright idea of bleaching my hair so I could go grey/purple. Needless to say after 4 bleaches, 2 toners and a semi-permanent lavender, my hair was FRIED. I searched online and was looking for something that would not cause more damage, and was blessed to have found PürHair Organic Care Salon, where I met Meli; whom of which is extremely knowledgeable and wholeheartedly cares about the well being of your hair. Ive been in to see her twice, and each time my hair has shown improvement (last time she worked with me right before a job interview, and it helped to secure my confidence) . Shes careful with the delicacy of my hair, and will be working with me until its back to its curly self, and forevermore. I am so glad I found this salon and even more grateful to have met Meli and Shanae. They have made a lifer out of me. Thanks Guys!!

Sam (Purhair- Salon 1) does an amazing job every time I go. The first time was a dramatic color correction and this time the brassy color was really bad in my hair with 2 to 3 inches of dark roots. She was able to brighten my hair, make it even, and it is amazingly soft. All the products are organic and I always strayed away because I didnt think they would do as good as regular bleach in normal salons. Boy, was I wrong. And their hair care products are awesome and really WORK! Will post a picture... Check it out!

great experience; I went in for highlights and a cut, and came out a new woman, thank you!! a great hair salon in northern Colorado Springs that uses vegan, cruelty free, organic hair products! go treat yourself and support this shift in the beauty industry; where hair salons are conscious of their environmental footprint, animal testing and are making an effort to put less chemicals on our heads and in the water. The salon is in a beauty mini mall of sorts, so afterwards you can get your eyebrows threaded too!

I was so excited for my appointment, but left disappointed. I paid over $50 after tip and walked out feeling like I didnt get a hair cut at all, and with a style that was too full and not at all like what I wanted. I thought that once I got home and washed/re-styled it myself I would be able to tell a difference, but that wasnt the case. I might as well have flushed my money down the toilet. So sad, as I really love the salons use of organic products.
