CECOR is one of the better firms. Now...did I LOVE the fact that when my recruiter quit I had to drive all the way to Greenwood Village for a 5 minute meeting (I called it a re-interview) with her replacement? No. However, that in-person meeting is a policy the company owner insists upon because how can the recruiter put me forward for a job if s/he has never even met me? My new recruiter has many years in the business and probably has a pretty good idea about my professionalism and how I present myself just from that 5 minute meet and greet. They work almost exclusively with administrative assistants and various accounting positions. They usually know their client companies very well and can give you a GOOD and HONEST assessment of where you are being assigned - much better than some of the larger staffing agencies whom I will not name. Most of their jobs will be in the DTC/Centennial area, though, so be prepared to travel there if you sign up with them. They are a wee bit old fashioned. They still use a 3 part carbon copy timesheet, for example, and communicate a lot by phone, not as much by e-mail and not at all by text. Overall, Ive been happy with what they have found for me. My only wish is that they had more jobs in central Denver, but that market has pretty much been gobbled up by the larger, less personal firms.

Jo Kennedy and I have known each other for more than 10 years. She was invaluable in my personal job search back in 2007 and she was the first person I thought of this past May when my daughter was searching for a better situation. I asked Jo to meet with her in hopes Essential Personnel would have something available that would be a good fit. Jo got right on it and literally had an interview for my daughter the next day and she started her new job the very next day. Things don’t always happen this quickly, but Jo is a master at pairing excellent employers with excellent workers and sensing when personalities and skill sets will mesh well. It is immeasurably valuable to have someone on your side at what is typically a very difficult time. I am forever grateful as is my daughter and I will always send anyone who needs someone in their corner when searching for better employment to Jo and Essential Personnel!

Ive been employed several times by Cecor Staffing since 2002, both temp and permanent positions. I can truly say that they are a very reputable agency unlike some of the others. "Most" agencies "fish" as a previous reviewer stated. They all want to "see" you. They need to know who they are sending out on assignments representing their agency and to me, thats fair. I give Cecor Staffing a 10. The owners are local unlike "corporate" agencies. Cecor Staffing will employ you if you are qualified and professional.

This is the worst staffing agency in Denver. They lie to you about the jobs they are staffing in order to pad their pockets, they could not care less about you. The main boss Jo is one of the rudest, most abrasive people Ive ever met, do yourself a favor and choose one of the dozens of other staffing agencies in Denver.

I found my current job through Cecor 3+ years ago. After an exhausting job search I walked into their office & they had me in an interview the next day. Its the job I am still at today and it is a perfect fit. I highly recommend them for qualified job seekers who just cant seem to find the right company.

Fairly convinced this place is a scam. Applied to a job they posted on Craigslist and got a call not two hours later where someone said the position had been filled but they wanted me to come all the way out to Greenwood just to chat with them. Staffing agencies suck.
