Lakeshore sends people out to bankrupt and unethical companies with toilets ripped off the wall and laying on the bathroom floors for weeks on end, ceiling leaks they patch with painters tape, keyboards missing letters, dead mice in mouse-traps, allergies from a filthy ventilation system, rusted-out, unsanitary refrigerators, and the most ridiculous turn over Ive seen in my professional career - I had (4) four bosses and saw 20 people leave during my contract with Lakeshore! They say itll be a 1-3 month temp to perm...lies. When calling to question the position or company, Jen Laymen and Pam Black are unresponsive, avoid you like the plague once they have you placed. They see no problem leaving you on indefinitely as a temp. As long as youre making money for them, they do not care about finding the right fit for you. Unprofessional agency who deserves no notice or any respect in return. Skip agencies altogether and contact companies direct! Do not waste one moment of your professional career working with any staffing agency, especially Lakeshore!

I worked for Lakeshore Staffing, working just four times and using them as a temp agency to get some extra money while looking for permanent work. After finding a permanent part-time position, I filed my separation with them. Shortly after, I received an appeal, saying they wanted to prohibit me from receiving unemployment from them. Since I worked only 4 times for Lakeshore, I wasnt entitled to unemployment (per my unemployment form from the state.) To that end, I had no intention of filing for unemployment from Lakeshore. But they filed the appeal anyway, which will prohibit me from getting any monies from my original employee for approximately 10 weeks. I am thrilled to have a new position which I found on my own. I wish I had never worked at Lakeshore at all and I dont recommend that anyone use their services.

A proper staffing agency, I think the older review was an unqualified and unplaceable candidate. Do mind that these people make money by ONLY placing the best people in positions. If youve got a degree and motivation, then go for it. Ellese, Pam, and Rebecca worked and got me a job paying a lot more than what I was earning at the time, and am currently super pleased. I will be recommending anyone I know whos looking to this place.

Lies, lies, lies. If they send you out on a job and you dont get it or want it, theyre done working with you. Then theyll be condescendingly fake through e-mails and wont take your calls anymore.
