Salon Foushee is very unfair, pretentious, and rude. I have a shoulder length hair with balayage highlights. I wanted to get my highlights lighter because they were turning little bit orange. I called them and told them about my hair and what I wanted to get done and the girl quoted me around $78. I made appointment that day with a third level stylist. I guess they have different levels of stylist depending on how long they worked there and their level of experience. Higher the level, the more expensive the service is. When I arrived, I couldnt find parking and I was 15 minutes late. So they couldnt put me with the stylist I made appointment with. The only person that was available was the first level stylist. That was totally fine with me because I really wanted to get my hair done today. So I stayed. The girl who did my hair was nice. I told her I wanted to get my highlights as light as she can do it without damaging my hair. She said ok and she can even take it up a bit more. She did a decent job. When I went to pay, it cost $245! Let me again say that I have shoulder length short hair and their first level stylist did my hair. I asked why it was that price and she said that balayage cost $180 plus trim cost around $30, and the treatment 25, and I guess style and blow dry cost $10. I was kind of shocked because she quoted me around $78 for the highlight when I called. All the rest of the cost is fine. She told me that the stylist told her that we talked about it and she did balayage on my hair which requires more work. I already had balayage highlights and just wanted those highlights to be lighter. I really did not need more highlights, because it makes me look faint. The stylist even asked me if I was fine with the amount of highlights that I have and I said YES. And the funny thing is it does not even look like I have more highlights. On top of that, the front desk girl had an attitude and was not happy that I was asking about the price. I felt so uncomfortable and I just gave them $300 and left. Its not about the money. It is about their attitude and how they handled the situation. That is why I am giving them 1 star. I told my girlfriend who had appointment this coming Friday and she canceled right away. They are pretentious and unfair. I always go to 4.5 to 5 star salons because my hair is very important to me. Even when I had longer hair with purple highlights, it never cost me this much. I am used to paying around 200-250 with tips for my hair. I am giving them 1 star because of how rude and unfair they are.

I would highly recommend this salon and spa downtown to everyone! Ive been seeing Chad Boltz, who also works at the Littleton location, for almost two years now. Ladies, Chad is amazing! He will truly make you fee beautiful and puts so much care and passion into his work...amazing stylist! I give him my highest recommendation possible and look forward to seeing him as often as possible for a little "hair therapy" whether it by a cut, highlights or a conditioning treatment. I guarantee you will feel like a million bucks when you leave regardless of how you felt arriving! Then there is Anna Davis, who I had the great fortune of meeting for the first time last week. I have been seeing the same massage therapist for almost two years now and was devastated when I found out a couple of weeks ago that she is no longer with the spa I saw her at. I decided to try Spa Foushee for a massage as Im already going every few weeks to see Chad. Let me tell you, Anna is truly something special and honestly amazing!! Again, she is so passionate about what she does and it shows! I have to say that it was truthfully the best massage Ive had in my life and Im a pretty tough critic...especially as my favorite hotel spa was just voted by T&L magazine as the top hotel spa in the continental U.S. My experience at Spa Foushee with Anna was truthfully better. I have a lot of back and posture issues cased by scoliosis and have found that chiropractic care just isnt for me. Anna is the greatest blessing I could ask for as I could see such a tremendous improvement in just one session. I plan to see her every couple of weeks and would recommend her talent and genuine care to anyone looking for a outstanding massage. I also wanted to mention how friendly Morgan Ernst is at the reception desk. She just adds a little extra to the experience with her warm hospitality and gracious demeanor. What a gem she is! Thank you Chad, Anna and Morgan for the wonderful experiences Ive had a Salon Foushee and Spa Foushee....I look forward to seeing you all soon!:)

I have been seeing Janet for about a year now and LOVE her! She was recommended to me from a friend after my previous stylist moved. The salon is right down the street from where I work downtown so its convenient, when you walk in its a nice clean atmosphere, the ladies are always friendly at the front and offer you something to drink which is nice! One of my favorite parts is the wash room!! I have been to many salons and have never had the great hair washing experience that I do at Salon Foushee. Its a separate enclosed area where the lights are dimmed, very relaxing and of course you get the phenomenal scalp massage. I can say since Ive been seeing Janet I have NEVER gotten so many compliments! I will go anywhere from 8-10 weeks between color, be on week 9 and people will compliment my hair and say it looks great. Im like really??? I dont get it done until next week. Recently I got bangs and WOW I couldnt believe how many compliments I got. Shes always done such a great job on my cut and color (not to mention I always have great conversations with her. Its important to bond with your stylist!) Bonus, with bangs you get free bang trims with any stylist you see. I highly recommend this salon (and of course Janet too!!) great place.

I began my experience at the Belleveiw salon, where I met Janet, she was just starting at that time and had a wonderful energetic outlook. I started going to her as my sons wedding approched, I told her I wanted a slightly different color with just a little copper tone as the dress I was wearing was copper. She did exactly as I asked, not too much not too sutle. She is a master of color only to be out done with her cuts! I have never been so please on a consistant basis with any other hair solon. I was very sad to think she would move and start her career at the downtown store when it opened, but I can understand why she would want to leave the suburbs. I found I couldnt live without my young new friend and followed her downtown as I said I would never drive that far again! Haaa! shes so worth it, and it only takes me a half hour from Ken Caryl! I will stay her forever and I also have brought my daughter in on the great Janet secret! The salon is beautiful, the people are professional and fun! Janet makes me look younger and feel younger, what else would you need?
