If I could give BKC Kitchen and Bath zero stars I would. My husband and I decided to go with them because they were rated so highly on Houzz. What a mistake! We knew what we wanted but decided to hire a designer so they could catch all the things we might not consider... not being in the business and all. The results: the cabinet for the refrigerator is too small so the sides of our fridge shows, drawers and doors bump into the dishwasher, so the dishwasher has to be open in order to fully open them, and we have two cookie sheet cupboards that are so small they are barely useable. This all could have been avoided and we could have had one big cookie sheet cupboard if the dishwasher had been placed on the the other side of the sink. These are the things I expected a designer to catch. Upon installation, there were many things wrong... wrong backing on cupboards, valances too short, scuffed paint, wrong doors. Jennie, the designer obviously did not listen. I asked for a white quartz sink but the one that came was the same as my countertops. The countertop guy said if I wanted the white one Id have to wait another month, so of course we went with the one that came. Jennie ordered a shelf to go between two cabinets above the window, but there was no room for the shelf between the window and the ceiling to put anything on and no way to attach it to the cupboards, but NO REFUND was given although every time we made a change they charged us. So we waited and eventually they were replaced. Chris, handyman guy has an East Coast rudeness about him and made sure we knew we were putting him out. Next, all my drawers started scraping, one of my cupboards wouldnt shut correctly and all the panels in my hood shifted and the paint was now messed up along with some chipped paint on my island. They sent the cabinet company guy out who told us the drawer boxes needed to be replaced along with the screw, the cabinet needed a new door and someone needed to come out and touch up the paint on the hood and the island. Weeks later the drawer boxes came in and were replaced with the screws, then, they sent somebody to touch up the hood but never mentioned the island and still no door for the cabinet. So I wait for the door and weeks later get an email with a picture Chris took that basically called me a liar and stated that the door was fine. It has now been 6 months. After a angry email, they agreed to fix the cabinet door. We spent over $50,000 on our kitchen. Jennie Showers, the designer and main point of contact, wouldnt take phone calls only emails, she was rude when she responded or just wouldnt respond at all, the manager was a snowflake who had no idea what was going on, and Chris the "fix it" man was lazy and rude. And to top it all off their intercommunication was horrendous. No one knew what the other was doing and were constantly blaming the other. And through all of this NOT ONE apology, NO COMPENSATION for putting us out...no, instead they proceed as if I am the one at fault. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!! Go somewhere else you will get much better customer service.

I dont provide many online reviews but in this case I definitely wanted to - I give the highest rating to BKC, specifically Caitrin McIlvain. Caitrin was incredible! I went to her with only a concept and some pictures. She worked with me on the design for the kitchen and bathrooms - being ever conscious of my budget and the look we wanted to accomplish. She was creative with great ideas, solution oriented and paid good attention to the detail. At one point, I was asking for a particular finish and she was astute enough to examine my pictures from Houzz and point out I wasnt saving pictures which matched what I was telling her I wanted - this attention to detail was very helpful - I didnt need someone to blindly follow but I wanted her to lead, suggest and then we would work together on the final design. Post sale - Caitrin has been even stronger than before the sale (if that is possible). Throughout every step - framing, granite tempting (which were not in her scope of work) she was available to support me - whatever the question, whatever the problem she was there with an answer or suggestion. She is a bright light in a sea of resources needed to complete our construction. The end result is a kitchen and several baths that I love - beautiful, functional and within the budget.

We just completed a major remodel/addition on our 1950s ranch home and part of that project was the complete remodel and redesign of our kitchen. Caitrin at BKC went to great efforts to help me with the design, and worked patiently with me to identify the style of cabinets and functionality of the kitchen. BKC had a range of cabinet manufacturers to choose from - something for every budget. Once the design was complete Caitrin worked with us to coordinate the ordering and delivery to coincide with our Contractors schedule. Our installer, John, was courteous, careful, and paid great attention to detail. There were some cabinet doors that arrived with incorrect hinge punches. BKC installed the doors temporarily (with the same professional installation) until the new ones arrived. Any guests looking at our new kitchen would admire the cabinetry, never knowing that the doors would soon be replaced! Once the manufacturer corrected the error, I was notified immediately and an installation date was set. I would highly recommend BKC based on my experience. While big-box stores may offer incentives and discounts, they are truly not as good as they sound, nor will you get the kind of customer service and design assistance that is absolutely critical when doing a kitchen remodel.

I chose BKC to remodel my kitchen because they were the most responsive and flexible company that I reached out to. Our designer (Jennie Showers) was able to create a fantastic design that worked for our tight layout. She took the guess work out of the cabinet design giving us the proper corner cabinets, spice drawers, trash cabinets, etc. in all the right, places. I feel like we are really using our space to its maximum potential with the new design and layout. The delivery and installation process went smoothly with a few unexpected challenges regarding the trim pieces. These were quickly and painlessly solved. Everyone at BCK including the delivery guys, installers, showroom coordinators, and of course our designer have been great to work with. BKC is the ONLY company that I have worked with throughout my entire remodel that I can truly recommend to anyone. They were hands down the best. If you are thinking about redoing a kitchen, do it with BKC! It will look great and be as painless as this type of project can be. Remember not having a kitchen for 2-3 months is going to be hard no matter what.

We initially worked with Home Depot to design our kitchen remodel, however after reading many poor customer service reviews, we decided to look elsewhere. We found BKC and had an absolutely amazing experience. Jennie took the time to walk us through multiple design and cabinet options with a great deal of knowledge. She also came out to the house to complete measurements herself. Since we have a 100 year old Denver bungalo with rather uneven floors/ceilings, this was greatly appreciated! We ended up choosing the Mediallion Silver line and could not be more pleased with the quality of the product. We also used BKC for the installation and Paul was a complete pro. As I mentioned, we had very uneven floors, so he expertly installed crown molding that leveled to the ceiling- not a feat that most installers could complete with such mastery. The end result is absolutely beautiful! We could have not asked for a better experience/ quality of cabinetry. We would recommend BKC to anyone in Denver looking for great service and reasonably priced, quality cabinetry for your home.
