I just got married a few weeks ago. I booked this salon for my wedding day. I had the WORST experience! I DO NOT recommend this salon if you want your wedding day to go smoothly or professional. It was bad from the booking process all the way to the end. When I first called to book the salon whomever I spoke to gave me a quote for updos for me and my girls. Since we were not having updos done, just down and curled I asked if there was a different price she said yes $45 to just curl and style. I also asked if there was a deposit, she said no but there is a $45 travel fee per stylist. I said great, I have 8 people how many stylists do I need. They quoted me 2 stylist at $90 so I booked them. I called back in March to confirm, not only did they know NOTHING about my wedding, had nothing booked and at this time I was told there is a $50 deposit & emailed a price list. The pricelist only included updo pricing which was $130 for bride & $65 for bridal party. I emailed the owner Marian back and told her I was quoted $45 because we are not getting updos only styled and curled. She wrote this back to me (quoted directly from her email) "Yes, the $45 is correct for your hair piece and to hold your hair in place. We do require the $45 travel fee per stylist, so the $90 is correct. No hurry on the deposit. I will be here today or next week." So trial day comes, not only did Marian talk over me, interrupt me and not even listen to what I wanted she tried to add a 3rd stylist, which we did not need, as well as say they require half up front. On the paperwork I filled out at the salon on that day said all they require is $50 deposit. After a lot of back and forth Marian says "ok then just pay me $15 more" Really? Why? Wedding day comes and Marian shows up at 10am, starts setting up and says her other stylist will be there at 11:30. My mother in law decided last minute she wanted an updo so she asked what it cost and Marian says well everyone today will cost $65 and the bride is $130. I stepped in & reminded her that the rest of us are not getting updos just our hair styled & she told me in an email that was $45. Marian then told us that even if you have ONE strand of hair pinned up that is considered an updo and cost $65. Never ever was that mentioned before!! And why is that considered an updo? An updo is ALL your hair pinned up! Marian argued for a bit & finally said "ok show me the email & I will honor what I said" so I showed her the email (from above) & her response was "oh thats not what I meant" REALLY? 11:45 rolls around & the other stylist is not there so we asked where she was, Marian said "I dont know" my Mom then says "you know we are on a tight schedule today" and Marian says very rudely "really? its only 15 minutes" yes really! Being late is unacceptable especially when you are on a TIGHT schedule! The other stylist didnt show up until 1215pm!! 45 minutes late! After all the hair was done my Mom wrote Marian a check for the agreed upon amount in the email. Marian said that was not enough & we owed more. My Mom said "no you agreed upon $45 & wrote in an email that it was only $45 for down and to hold my hair piece so that is what we are paying you" Marian got very upset, started screaming at my Mom and threatening to call the cops in front of my entire wedding party! I was in tears! This is not what I imagined would happen on my wedding day. Finally my brother came in and paid her (which he should not have done) and told her to leave. I cannot believe how unprofessional Marian, the owner was during this entire process. Fellow brides PLEASE listen to my advice and DO NOT book this salon for your wedding. Marian will ruin it! Not only was the customer service awful but all our hair was flat and/or had fallen out by the time the ceremony began! After the ceremony we quickly ran around trying to re-pin and re-curl hair for pictures which put our entire wedding schedule behind.

These ladies were so awesome. I actually had a medical issue right near the end of treatment. I had pre-migraine symptoms start so I took my medication and my hands and arms started to go NUMB. I was not very calm, and the hairdresser (I cannot for the life of me remember her name but when I go back this month I will write it down) calmed me down and was so so so sweet. I was able to wait it out and have a friend pick me up, (I chucked the new migraine meds!) and headed out. I was so embarrassed the entire time. But they were so amazing to me. AND more importantly, I LOVED my hair. I am very very picky and usually am only slightly impresses with my hair after salons because I feel like I am rarely listened to on what I like and dont like. I left beaming! Anyways, I really liked this place and dont understand the reviews. At least on Yelp ad Vagaro they have 4/5 star ratings which I think they deserve.

My first yoga class was at Alpine ridge Salon in evergreen about a year ago. It was a terrific entry place for me. Thier studio is warm, and inviting with natural light and breeze coming thru the adjoining window and doors. Their teachers are skilled in several different yogas, and match the room warmth. Kirstin Harper (Asiana) was my first teacher. She has a great command of the yoga teacher space and made it easy to step into to it without any expectations and really get into my breath. I also took classes from Anne who teaches Vinyasa flow. Anne has a radiance that goes unmatched in my experiences with yoga, skilled in her art, open and warm to the feminine. If you live in evergreen dont miss this studio, youll leave present and full up. Matt

Alpine in Evergreen is your source for amazing services and staff! From Hair and Nail services to Facials, Massage and Yoga classes you can really make an entire day of it! I have been driving up from Littleton for years (the drive is also amazing) and I am always warmly welcomed. The staff are amazing and I have never had a bad service, the space is clean, modern and ready to serve the client. Great place for products too, their line of products are hand picked with the client in mind and Marian (the owner) and her team are always a great source of knowledge when trying to figure out what is best for you.

I would highly suggest not using this salon unless you want to be treated poorly. Marian the owner is very unprofessional and has poor customer service. She talks over you when are telling her want you want done, changes prices and details on a whim. I do not recommend this saloon at all!!!

When I moved to Evergreen 5 years ago I made a hair appointment with Marian at Alpine Ridge. She was very friendly, professional and I was very happy with my hair cut. Everyone at the salon that I have encountered while getting pedicures, massages and my kids hair cut are wonderful.
