I found Lauren, owner of Belle Shea, after having to cover up a bad dye job with two semi-permanent colors, which left me a very dark brown. Starting out blonde, I frantically looked around for someone else I trusted to fix my hair. I had seen a stylist at Studio Be and went back to her. I left with my hair looking the exact same and $200 poorer. Frustrated I tried Lauren out as I had seen her work on some of my friends hair. I was pleasantly surprised with the results. Although it took several months to arrive at the dark blonde I had originally requested, everytime I left Laurens salon I was heppy with our progress. I never left feeling like we had miscommunicated regarding the cut and color I was looking for. Laurens prices are highly competitive and are worth the one-on-one time you spend with her. She is acutely attentive to her clients needs and consistently provides outstanding service. She is fast and efficient and fun to spend a couple hours with. I also use Lauren for Shellac manicures, eyebrow waxing and hair and make-up for weddings and charity events. I always recieve overwhelming compliments. Please try this quaint, successful local business! The Pink Papaya products and Awapuhi line are my favorite! Your hair, skin and nails will surely thank you!

The service at Belle Shea was awesome. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. It didnt feel like a prissy uptight salon. The actual building is beautiful. Clean white organized free of clutter. Music was on point. My appt for a bleach tone and color was at 10am. I got out around 1pm. I wanted to go from a dirty brownish to a bright bluepurple. The Olaplex + Smartbond process to lighten my hair was awesome!!! It came out white blonde and felt stronger. I have not dyed it for over 10 years and I swear it felt healthier. Time for a custom mix of PulpRiot colors. Nikki was an awesome stylist and my hair came out great! The only serious issue I have is it has been 5/6 days, one cold water shower with sulfate free color protective LOréal products, and bam, all my color is gone and Im back to blonde. I sort of feel like I should call and let them know. Undecided at this time if I will or not. $230 :( but my bleach, tone and cut were spectacular!

I found Lauren & Belle Shea Salon through Papermoon Weddings for my vow renewal - and was so, so happy! First of all, one of the things I really wanted for my big day was to have hair & makeup done at our home, and I was so pleased Lauren travels!! Secondly, I was impressed with Laurens attention to detail & her follow up...she called me a couple times from when I booked until my day to make sure everything was still good as scheduled & to confirm my friends/family who also booked hair & makeup. It helped keep me organized:) Thirdly, I really loved Laurens personality - shes fun, bubbly, chatted lots with my friends & family, and made everyone feel totally at home. Lastly, my hair & makeup was PERFECT. I have never felt more beautiful. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Oh - and also - I had Novalash eyelash extensions (?) done at Belle Shea a few weeks later & have been very happy with them. Overall, a professional well run salon!

Lauren did my hair and make up for my wedding, as well as a few of my bridesmaids. The whole process from beginning to end was amazing! I dont have my hair and make-up professionally done often and I wanted to look and feel very natural. Lauren took the time to listen to exactly what I imagined for my wedding day and made it happen! I felt so cared for in the trial process and was so pampered the day of my wedding. The process was very straightforward and simple and didnt add any extra bit of stress to the task of wedding planning. It was HUGE to have a local salon be involved in our wedding and we were so thankful for the ability of Belle Shea to travel and make everything so easy. We made the right decision and are so happy with how everything turned out!

I couldnt have been happier with Lauren Luquettes work! She made the whole afternoon of hair for my bridesmaids and myself so enjoyable. All of my bridesmaids chose different updo styles and she did each of them beautifully. What I was most impressed with was the way she transformed my bridal look. I had originally chosen a smooth classy updo but I was not quite sold. Being out of state we did not have another opportunity to do another trail run. On the day of the wedding, I told her I still wanted an updo but something wavy and looser and she totally rocked it! I LOVED my hair at my wedding. I highly recommend her salon. If you are getting married in the area, look no further than Belle Shea Salon.

Lauren and her employees are beyond amazing! She came all the way out to Lyons to do my hair and makeup along with her helper for my bridesmaids! They did mine, 6 ladies and 2 flower girls and flew right through it with no delays! They did AMAZING, we all looked flawless and they got everything exactly how I wanted it just by seeing a picture and I let Lauren just do her thing on me! My only request was smokey dramatic makeup and big Texas hair and she nailed it!!!!! Im incredibly sad that I dont live closer, would be thrilled to have this sweet lady as my regular go to girl! I highly highly recommend anyone and everyone using them! They made my special day perfect!!!!!

While my hair and makeup was beautiful, the customer service was awful! The area was so small that my mom had to sit in the hall way and the owner actually shut the door in her face! She shut the door because she was "juicing" and the smell of food was wafting in. HOW RUDE! She also spent the entire appointment talking on the phone with her brother and various other friends. When she wasnt on the phone, she was taking to anybody BUT me. I was ready to make Belle Shea my regular salon but I was completely put off by their lack of respect and general socializing and customer service skills. Such a bad experience especially for the start of my senior pictures.

The ladies at Belle Shea are fabulous! I had the privilege of getting to know Lauren & Leslie prior to getting married this past April when I went in for a hair cut & color and loved it! Leslie is so fabulous with color-I looked just like I had envisioned! Lauren was so wonderful helping me decide how to do my hair for the wedding-she answered ALL of my questions, and ultimately helped me with extensions for my special day :) My hair and makeup were flawless, just as I had imagined things would look. Lauren and her team kept us on time, and made us all feel gorgeous. Thank you ladies!!

Ive never had much luck finding a stylist that knew how to layer my full head of thin hair. Id end up with a lopsided cut or something terrible I didnt ask for. Since my first visit with Lauren over 2 years ago, Ive been hooked. Her cuts are consistent, styled to each individuals need and last. Plus, I enjoy the fact that a really great style doesnt need much time to get ready in the morning - I dont have to fight it!! Still not sure?
