Bought my 2012 Ford Escape LTD there in 2014. The salesman was great but was soon fired. I had issues from the beginning after I took possession of the car. It took several phone calls and emails to get my first car payment bill in the mail. In the meantime, I was trying to figure out where to send my payment. By the time it was finally squared away, it was only 2 days before my payment would have been considered late so I paid by phone. After about a month, the exhaust started to sound pretty loud. I took it in to get looked at. I was told it was normal for that make and model. A few months after that, the rear window started leaking water any time it rained. Took it to get it fixed and had to fight to get it covered by them. Mind you, this was a relatively new car with only 14,000 miles on it. Water should not leak into the car. Fast forward another month or so and I get rear ended by an idiot. I take my car to Lombard for repairs. I again ask them to look at the exhaust because it is getting louder. They said the exhaust still sounded "acceptable." They "repaired" my car from the accident. It was pouring the day I picked it up so I couldnt really examine it before leaving the dealership. When I got home and into my garage, I noticed the entire bumper was put on crooked and there was sprayed paint on my rear window. My husband had to take it back to get it fixed because I was so pissed. Fast forward several more months when I finally have time to have a reliable mechanic look at my exhaust (I just had a baby during all of this). The exhaust was improperly repaired. Instead of a clamp holding the parts together, they just retrofitted a pipe which made the loud clanking noise anytime I was idling or driving slowly. The system had been cut and sleeved causing it to leak. Prior to today, Ive never has anyone else touch the car besides Lombard Ford except for oil changes. I will never again buy a car from them or have my car serviced by them. My husbands company has many of their fleet cars worked on here and they will be told about my experience.

I recently bought my first car from Mark Jones, and I cannot say enough good things about him, or my experience at Lombard Ford. I started my car search at a different dealership, and when it became apparent that nobody there really cared about selling a car, I found myself at Lombard. It was like walking into a different world when compared to the first dealership I went to. Where before it was unfriendly and unwelcoming, Mark and the staff at Lombard were cheerful, energetic, and extremely helpful. I came in wanting a Fiesta, and where the other dealer was helpful in finding one close to what I wanted, and was willing to get that car brought up for a $500 transfer fee, Lombard worked with me to find the exact car I wanted. Unfortunately, we couldnt find the exact car I was looking for, so they informed me that we could either get a similar car, order the exact car I wanted, or take a look at their next model up, the Focus, which was similar to what I wanted in the Fiesta. They gave me a great deal on the Focus, and, with absolutely no dealer pressure, I decided to take a step up and get the Focus. It was lacking in some features I wanted with the Fiesta, but it was a lot more car for the money and I couldnt be happier with my decision. I came back the next day to pick up my car and drove it off the lot with a big smile on my face. The real difference is the people at Lombard Ford. My whole time there I really felt that not only Mark, but the entire business was revolving around finding out what I wanted from a new car, and putting me in the car that would live up to or exceed my expectations. In the end, my first car buying experience was fantastic. I got a new car that I look forward to driving every day, and I have Mark Jones and the rest of the staff at Lombard Ford to thank for that. So, not to sound like a cliche radio advertisement, but if youre in the market for a new car, go to Lombard Ford and ask for Mark Jones. You will not be disappointed.

After searching the internet inventory listing of several dealers, my wife Cheryl and I visited Lombard Ford. We had purchased two used and one new vehicle from Lombard over the years. My son-in-law was having his Explorer serviced on the previous day, and mentioned to Corinne Markey that we were looking for a vehicle. She gave him her business card, which he handed to us when he returned to Terryville. The next day when we started to look at vehicles, a salesman asked if he could help. He informed us that Corinne was busy with a customer, but he would help us until she became free. We showed him the computer printout of vehicles that we were interested in. Once we "Zeroed in" on one, he showed us all of the features, answered questions, and arranged for us to take it for a test ride. Upon returning, Corinne was free, and he brought us into the showroom to meet her. I was impressed by the amount of attention that the salesman gave to us, as well as his great attitude, considering that Corrine would be credited with a sale if we purchased a vehicle. The dealership is well served by having him in their organization. We appreciated the fact that we were not spending time waiting around. Corinne Markey answered the questions that we had in friendly and informative manner. The process by which the final price of the vehicle, and the extended warranty was arrived at was handled in a pleasant atmosphere. She enabled us to drive away with the Mercury Milan Premier that afternoon, after meeting Dave, who had all of the paperwork ready. Corinne demonstrated the key features of the vehicle in a very thorough manner before we left the lot. We appreciate all that she accomplished in a short period of time. While it was nice to see the message welcoming my wife and I to the dealership, I was more impressed by the attitude and ability of the employees that we met that day.

Where do I begin? Lou Credidio is the most patient and caring salesman I have ever met. Lou first contacted me regarding my Internet Inquiry regarding a pre-owned Honda CRV that I was interested in. This vehicle was everything I was looking for but a little above the budget that I had in mind. After a week of going back and forth with Lou via email and phone calls, I took the drive out to Lombard Ford on a Sunday to check the vehicle out. I immediately fell in love with the vehicle but wasn’t convinced that I wanted to spend that much money on the car. I relayed my concerns to Lou who was very pleasant and not in any way pushy, he offered me a few other vehicles that we may want to look at but nothing he had on the lot was an interest to me. He continued to display genuine interest in helping me find the best suitable vehicle to meet my families’ needs. After many hours searching the web and looking at other dealerships I came to the conclusion that this was in fact the vehicle for me. I contacted Lou once again, who was happy to hear from me and assist me in any way he could. We scheduled a test drive for the next day and within an hour and half of test-driving the vehicle I had agreed to purchase the vehicle. There was no long drawn out speeches given nor haggling over the price it was all straightforward and easy. I did have a few concerns with the vehicle and Lou addressed them with the manager and had everything taken care of and the vehicle was to be ready the next day for delivery. Lou has been there from start to finish and even followed up to make sure I am enjoying my new vehicle.
