I was very pleased with my experience. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. The work was done thoroughly and on time (even a bit ahead of schedule), and the cost was what I anticipated. They provide a printout itemizing the work done, and -- this is really helpful for me -- a forecast listing what work did not need to be done now but that would likely need attention in the next six months. (This listing includes a written description and, where applicable, a photo [showing, for example, a muffler clamp that is currently holding but showing some corrosion and that would need replacing in the coming season].) Weve all heard of auto mechanics making a questionable diagnosis, over-charging, and/or doing inferior work. No such problems here! I dont want to over-sell them, but when a repair shop does such professional work, it deserves a good word.

It just doesnt get any better. I really appreciate the comprehensive, color-coded inspection report on each visit. Green items (good), Yellow conditions (need future attention), or Red for anything unsafe. Photos are included in the report, as needed. This enables me to feel comfortable keeping my very old car on the road. Might not be great to look at, but Its kept safe, its well maintained, and drives smooth as silk. My family has used Mike and Collinsville Auto for many years and have always been extremely satisfied with the service we have received. I have comfort in knowing that there will never be work done that is not necessary. There have been several instances where my bill was less than quoted because not everything needed to be done or was done quicker than expected. I never had that confidence anywhere else. Brought my Nitro in thinking it needed a starter, after a thorough run through my vehicle Collinsville Auto assured me it was not my starter but the security module. After a simple fix my vehicle was good to go. They also did a complete check on my vehicle and made a few recommendations. They charged me an extra day of storage for not being able to pick up car after 5:00pm the time they close. So if u get ur car towed at 4:00pm today and cant pick it up by 5pm today not only will u be chargedd $24 more, you cant get ur vehicle at all that night. Horrible service.

Great guys, my Battery Terminal connector died so the car was dead. Called Collinsville Auto, spoke with Mike had my car towed there at 5:15pm they stayed around to fix it, since i really needed it the next day. Thank you will use them again for sure
