Considering the last review is hardly in English- I would not pay it any attention. I first brought my car here about 8 months ago, I have brought it back several times for diagnostics & for repair. I find the shop and its employees to be very friendly & knowledgeable.. EVERYTHING is shown to you and explained fully! All my options were disclosed to me so that I understood what was happening and what my options were. The shop itself is spotless & very comfortable. I am very happy with the work done on my car & with how I am treated here. As far as price goes- I would say they are very competitive in the area & ALL labor/parts costs were given to me right up front & all the receipts are itemized in a very clear & itemized way!

The most honest, straightforward mechanic I have ever dealt with. I was in Waterbury for business and my car started leaking some fluid. I had no clue where to bring it, and I am so glad I decided to go to SAF-T. I told them my situation and they dropped everything to take a look at my car. It was a very simple fixed and cost almost nothing. In a situation where I could have easily been taken advantage of, the people at SAF-T were honest and straight forward. My only complaint is that there is no SAF-T location in my home town!

My car was over heating , I took my car to Mark and he spent three hours on diagnosing my my car over heated while running the AC . He stated it was the electric fan and computer . Did NOT charge me any fees , told me to take it to Nissan dealer because he didnt have the computer codes to reprogram my computer . He was right . Excellent and honest mechanic . My father and I had a dead battery. We got a jump and went right to Saf-T Auto Center in Waterbury,Ct and even though it was 4pm, they took us right in and replaced the terminal and the battery for us. The guys were so helpful and nice and I would highly recommend this shop! We even had milk in the car and they took our milk and put it in the refrigerator for us until they were done so it wouldnt spoil!!

Very knowledgeable owner and mechanics. Very accomodating too. My car broke down on a Tuesday. Neil the owner took the car the next day, fixed it for a very fair price and was back on the road that night. Would definetly recommend anyone who was hesitant to bring you car there. I am glad that I did. Call Neil today if you have any questions. I am glad I did.

They are extremely knowledgeable there. That is the only reason they get any stars at all. They tried to charge me almost 3,000.00 for a job....and those parts had nothing wrong with them (I had two other mechanics check). What was actually wrong with my car only cost $550.00 very disappointed in how they attempted to take advantage.

I have to say the counter guy has a huge smile as he is ripping you off his prices are high on everything but oil changes prices are the highest in area for Advanceauto parts
